Rise and early.. although the time difference in SG, i still manage it quite ok.
Didn't have any jet lag.
Today is my 2nd day here at SF.. Alot of things to be done and seen!
We're going to Alamo Sq to view the Painted Ladies, have Cheesecake Factory for lunch, some shopping ard Macy's and of cos the most anticipated, Alcatraz tour!
We prebook a night tour for the Alcatraz trip.. It's really worth it. As there are certain activities conducted only during the night.
It's really worth the trip.
A little history on alcatraz... (Grab from wikipedia)
Alcatraz Island is an island located in the San Francisco Bay, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) offshore from San Francisco, California.[1] Often referred to as The Rock, the small island early-on served as a lighthouse, a military fortification, a military prison, and a Federal Bureau of Prisons federal prison until 1963.[2] Later, in 1972, Alcatraz became a national recreation area and received landmarking designations in 1976 and 1986.
Today, the island is a historic site operated by the National Park Service as part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and is open to tours. Visitors can reach the island by ferry ride from Pier 33, near Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. In 2008 the nation's first hybrid propulsion ferry started serving the island.[3] Alcatraz has been featured in many movies, TV shows, cartoons, books, comics, and games.
And a late night short trip to Pier 39... Realised that the shops in San Francisco doesn't open till late at night unlike those shops in Hongkong where there are still many shops opened till as late as 12am.
Thus this little night trip to Pier 39, wasn't a fruitful one.. Only managed to buy some tee shirts from Hard Rock Cafe.
I love shopping at Macy's! There are so much to see.. and the coach counter is there as well. Branded Names from States are selling sooo much cheaper (after the conversion of the exchange rate). I got my Marc Jacob bag there too! For half of the price selling in SG's Marc Jabcob store.
Heheheh
Sometimes i wonder how is it like to live in SF....
The wind is chilling even if the sun is sunny. Not a drop of sweat...
Do wonders to my face cos it's isn't as oily as it is back home..
Hmmm....
