Friendship...

I've been itching to go for a photoshoot with my girlfriends!!

Initially we wanted to get Melody (from Oh! Dear Photography) to shoot for us but many of my girls friends aren't very keen as each of us have to pay about $80 so 1 of them suggested me to do the shoot to commemorate our friendship! And I thought, "Why not?!". I get to practice my skills!

We have yet to set a date for the shoot as many of us are working and each have different schedule. So lets hope that we can have a date where it's good for all.

Here for some of my inspiration for the shoot!

Guess its time I start to think seriously of my interest and pursue it and make full use of what I love to do!

It's time to do some serious planning for my future.

I do hope that my girlfriends are available soon for me to do this shoot!!

Have a great day ahead!

To my horror!!!

Once in a while, I will read thru my older post as they always bring back fond memories.

So today I logged in and realized 2 of my pictures on the right hand side sidebar was missing. Checked some of my older blogpost and realised all the photos are missing too!!! And honestly, I have no way of backing them up and some were taken from my phone and some were so long ago that I have probably deleted it away!!!!!!

Blogspot!! Why are you giving me such headache???!!! If there were to happened again, I will move my blog over to Wordpress!

To make it worst.. I just paid my annual storage fee for blogspot!! Argh~~~

I will try to recover as many photos as possible... Wonder who would like to read a blog without photographs! In the meantime, I shall explore my option on moving to wordpress!

Have a great day!

When I'm bored.. I edit them

Yup.. when I'm bored at home. Fingers are itching to do some random snapping but I couldn't go out because of bad weather or simply feeling tired.

So I will run thru my old archives and start to edit some long forgotten photos.

Whirlwind week..

I'm not sure how I pass the entire week when I have so much stuffs on my plate...

But 1 thing is more sure.. thru such ordeal you know who are your family, the one who loves you the most and stick with you thru thick and thin..

'Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten.' - Lilo & Stitch
I'm glad that my dad attended our wedding. And somehow by the work of fate, both Mr Lee & I were glad that we choose to have our wedding on 1st Jan 2013 instead of the original date of Sept 2013.

Sleepless night at the hospital.

A special thought from Yamaha Music (Asia) Pte Ltd

Special thought from my company and colleagues.

My dad did his best to fight with his illness and he draw his last breath on 21st April 2013.
The sadness that I felt cannot be put into words as I realized that I could have spend more time with him. Meet him more often for lunch or dinners.

I have 2 half brothers too. I wish I could have know them under a better circumstances but I'm glad that somehow I managed to have a chance to meet them and interact with them.

Whatever that has pass, is in the pass. Right now, I need to recharge my energy, lead my life as per normal. And from my dad's passing, I've decided to do start what I love to do most.

I hope with my husband's support and encouragement, I can make it thru!

Have a great weekend!

Lazy or just procrastinate?

I wonder am I getting lazier or I just don't wish to do anything on weekends?

My hubby comment that I'm getting chubbier! I used to jog every weekend before my wedding cos every bride to be wants to be the prettiest on that day and that means detox and exercise to shed off that few pounds!

But after marriage... I enter the "next phrase" of life so I became lazy, which is no good! I need to exercise but staying at BP is like a whole new world to me. I hardly venture the place and I think it's good enough that I know where I can tabao food, see doctor and shop from supermarkets and yet I do not know where can I jog as in a designated jogging track like how my house (Pasir Ris) have...So I eventually made up my mind, I want to learn YOGA!

Many of my friends asked me to sign up package from fitness center which has good facilities but I always find that signing up a package price, paid off with credit card 0% installment does not make me feel the pinch. I am old school lah, I'm that kind like paying school fees, I need to see the $$$$ out making payment over a counter than I will feel the pinch and will make sure I go for my classes. Ya. I'm weird!!!!!!!!

None of the fitness center would allow me to pay by per month... so I can only search for places that charge by per session. I found a small yoga place near my office... 10 sessions for $190 and I though it's quite cheap. But Community Center has it even cheaper!! 10 sessions for $55 and they have class on weekends!!

I never thought I will be so auntie like!! Hahahahahaah.....
Came across Bukit Panjang CC's course schedule when I went there with my MIL to settle some of her stuffs.. and I saw that they have a Saturday afternoon yoga class. Perfect timing and near my in law's place. However class has started and they don't do pro-rate of fees. Got to keep a lookout on their website and sign up after this current class has ended!!!

In the meantime.... this is my inspiration of scrapbooking!

Got this inspiration from Crate Paper

Hmm.. hopefully this weekend I do not procrastinate about scrapping and just lay on bed and watch tv drama serials...

Time to go off!!

Wondering what's happening?

It's has been quite awhile since I drop by Sengkang area to check out the progress of our lovely abode...

I've been checking the progress thru sengkangzai.blogspot.sg... Luckily there are such kind soul in this world who actually update all these new BTO around Sengkang area if not it's gonna be quite tough for me to drop by Sengkang area to check on the progress now that I'm staying at the other point of Singapore.

Progress as at 13 April 2013
Image: from sengkangzai.blogspot.sg
The progress seems quite fast! It's just about 1 year ago since we ballot this flat and now block and block of flats are rising up! Time for me to slowly collect inspiration for my house!! I'm lending towards Scani / Zakka theme which I know it's quite common in Singapore. Somehow I always have this Zen feeling whenever I see home decor in this theme.

Pinterest is the best when it's for Inspiration! (^_^v)

I loveeee to have such meaningful quotes on walls or even as art deco frame.

The kitchen that I like.. But I will change to beige colour cupboards instead. Too black / Dark,

I love it when the house is in white and with touches of wood, beige and black

How I like my bedroom to be. If only HDB flats have such windows for bedrooms.

Mr Lee is hoping to have a bar counter. I'm fine with that.

I wish... I wish... I have a walk in wardrobe. But I know it's impossible but with such small space in  the mater bedroom.
I think I can I come out of ways to have mini mini WIW!!!

I seriously cannot wait for our own house to be ready!! I love to decorate and I can't wait to see what DIY stuffs that I can do for my house!!!!

Another reason that I cannot wait for my house to arrive is that staying with in laws and with so many sisters in law has it's pros and cons.

Time to start to save and earn more money!!!

Interested... in BAKING??!

Just out of the blue.. One day, I just decided that I wanna bake.

Not those super difficult recipe kind. Just those simple, no bake recipe... and my favorite is cheesecake.

Recently went to Public Garden Fair and saw many home bakers have their recipe of cheesecake in a jar... I'm inspired to bake 1 myself.

Went to my good friend, Google and I found 1 simple recipe which I think it might work!!

No Bake Cheesecake in a Jar

Plain Cheesecake:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

*For the crust, I purchased a box of graham cracker crumbs and followed the recipe on the back of the box.  I then placed enough of the mixture into each jar to give it enough of the crust taste.  I refrigerated the jars like this for at least an hour before finishing.*

Combine all ingredients and spoon about 1/2 cup mixture onto prepared crust.  Top with fruit {or other toppings} of choice.  Refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving.

Chocolate Cheesecake:
8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup chocolate syrup

*For the crust on the chocolate ones, I purchased two pre-made chocolate cookie crusts {find it in the baking aisle} and crushed it up to make my cookie crumbs.  After placing in the bottom of the jars, I refrigerated these for at least an hour before putting the filling in.*

Combine filling ingredients and place 1/2 cup filling on top of prepared crust.  Top with toffee pieces, raspberries, or chocolate shavings.  Refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving.

The above pic and recipe is from.. onlyfromscratch.blogspot

I think it's quite tough to purchase graham cracker crumbs from Singapore. Gonna go do my homework and see if there is any kind of replacement!!

Hopefully one day I can bake this out!!

Lazy Sunday, resting a headache!

I'm truly blessed.

At times I think I'm truly blessed. Cause I've a husband who loves me more than anything in the world...

I'm itching for an anniversary shoot!! Hahah.. we just got married like 4 months ago and I'm eyeing to have an anniversary shoot.

This time round, I've short listed a few photographers that I wish that price list is what my budget can allow...

Lighted Pixel Pixies - They are the disciples of the Lightedpixel Photography. I almost have a hard time choose between them and One Eye Click. But unfortunately none of the pixies are available to shoot on my wedding day so I choose One Eye Click.

Multifold Photography - Another company that I like how they capture expression.. They are quite popular with many blogshop shoots and some bloggers' couple shoot too!  Not too sure of their price chart as I've yet to inquire... But I guess the price will be high too..

Oh,Dear! Photography - Melody the photographer of Oh,Dear! Photography. She did our pre wedding shoot and we were very very pleased with the results. I was wondering if I should go back to Melody for our anniversary shoot or maybe maternity shoot when I'm pregnant. I know Oh, Dear! price chart so it won't cost so much as multifold or lightedpixel pixies.

Anyway our 1st wedding anniversary still has a long way to come, gives me ample time to plan and decide and to also convince Mr Lee. Somehow he is quite camera shy... (^_^)

Have a good weekend!

Felicia
