Yuppie.. this tv serial drama, Tera Nova is my latest addiction!!
It's produce by Steven Spielberg and it's also the most expensive tv drama serial ever produce.   
Really like the story line, it's interesting.. sort of like part Avatar and Jurassic Park


Story Plot

TERRA NOVA follows an ordinary family on an incredible journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a small part of a daring experiment to save the human race. In the year 2149, the world is dying. The planet is overdeveloped and overcrowded, with the majority of plant and animal life extinct. The future of mankind is in jeopardy, and its only hope for survival is in the distant past.

When scientists unexpectedly discovered a fracture in time that made it possible to construct a portal into primeval history, the bold notion was born to resettle humanity in the past – a second chance to rebuild civilization and get it right this time.

The series centers on the Shannon family as they join the Tenth Pilgrimage of settlers to Terra Nova, the first colony established in this beautiful yet foreboding land. JIM SHANNON (Jason O’Mara), a devoted father with a checkered past, guides his family through this new world of limitless beauty, mystery and terror. Jim’s wife, ELISABETH (Shelley Conn), is a trauma surgeon and the newest addition to Terra Nova’s medical team. JOSH (Landon Liboiron) is their 17-year-old son who is torn to leave life as he knows it behind; upon arriving at the settlement, he finds himself instantly drawn to the beautiful and rule-breaking SKYE (Allison Miller). MADDY (Naomi Scott), Josh’s endearingly awkward 15-year-old sister, hopes Terra Nova will give her a chance to reinvent herself. Although Elisabeth’s medical training secured the family a spot on the pilgrimage, a secret involving their five-year-old daughter, ZOE (Alana Mansour), soon endangers their place in this utopia.

Upon the Shannons’ arrival, they are introduced to COMMANDER NATHANIEL TAYLOR (Stephen Lang), the charismatic and heroic first pioneer and leader of the settlement. Taylor warns the travelers that while Terra Nova is a place of new opportunities and fresh beginnings, all is not as idyllic as it initially appears. Along with blue skies, towering waterfalls and lush vegetation, the surrounding terrain is teeming with danger – and not just of the man-eating dinosaur variety. There is also a splinter colony of renegades led by the battle-hardened MIRA (Christine Adams), who is vehemently opposed to Taylor and his leadership.

Even more threatening than what lies outside the protective walls of the colony is the chilling possibility that something sinister is happening inside Terra Nova. The Shannons will come to suspect that not everyone on this mission has the same idea of how to best save mankind; in fact, there may be forces intent on destroying this new world before it even begins.

Planning a wedding - The A-Z

Read this from one of the issue in style wedding magazine and thought that I could share it here for all..

Where it all beings

• Decide when you want to solemnise your marriage. Book a date with the Registry of Marriages.
• Find your solemnisation witnesses. They must be above 21 years old.
• File the notice of marriage with ROM. 
• You can personalise your own vows for your ROM ceremony. Confirm guest list for the ceremony.
• Attend a marriage preparation course to prepare yourselves for your journey together.

First things first

• Pick a special or auspicious date that will also give you enough lead time to plan your wedding.
• Decide on the kind of wedding you want: Traditional, casual or formal.
• Choose a theme.
• Confirm and priorities your budget. Discuss with your families and partner who pays for what.
• Check for available venues. Your choice of location will influence your theme and the number of guests you invite. 

The gown of your dreams

• Start shopping six months before.
• Check recommendations of good bridal shops

What so far... so busy!

Right after my birthday week... my office is getting ready for shifting to new premises.

With more than 15 years of documents to be shred and throw away, old technologies like video tapes, floppy disk and projector slides are all being destroy.. plus with the packing of my stuffs as well as other matters that pertaining to me... 

One word to describe: Tiring!

So we took a week and now we are in our new office.. (Sorry no photos are my new office yet)

A while ago, I flipped thru a scrapbook magazine and saw a similar altered art project using ikea's photo frame.

So I gave my try on it!

And was quite happy with the result!!

Enjoyed my birthday celebration last weekend with my family and love one!

And somehow I have decided on my goals for myself to achieve before i hit 28 years old.

• Car license - Previously learned under a bad and impatient instructor, failed my practical test and now learning under a better instructor, I've to retake my advance theory before I can book my next practical test. So ma fun!! Haiz.. My next theory exam will be next year 20th Jan! Hopefully I can pass!!!!

• Better job opportunity - I've been working in my current company for close to 7 years... Feels like it's almost time for me to move on and change to another job. Currently I'm waiting for the right time to start my job hunt!

• Do what i like to do to - I've been wanting to start my own online business. Right now, I'm planning and sourcing for ideas... Hopefully that someday, my wish can come true!

Turning 27 years old!!

Like many wise people commented, once you've past your 21st.... there ever all the years will just fly pass.
And this is very true... with an blink of an eye, I've reach 27 years old.

Many things that I would want to achieve and hope that with hard work and determination, I can do it.

Unlike other years, this year I don't have much plans to celebrate. Mainly because I'm too old! Haha
Just want to spend some time with my loved ones... So will just have movie marathon at home and also my favorite zhe char dinner too!!

Thank you to my bf who is so attentive to what i said and remembered that I was deciding whether to buy the instax wide angle camera since I already have mini 7s. Now I have the both! So happy!!

Thank you to my friends who contributed to my birthday gift - Big danbo!! I've always wanted to purchase this big danbo but it's always OOS like everywhere! And I'm surprised that my brother found it and get it for me!!!

What's on my face?

Like every other girls... I fall in love with make up at around  20 years old.. why? Because that's when I started working and slowly have the earning power to purchase cosmeticals..

I ain't like those make up expert.. who is really good at make up and can transform your face into flawless model like face..

All I aim to look is natural, fresh and poreless!! hehehe

Today's date is like 难得一件 cause such dates will only occurs once.

Many ppl also choose this date to get married too... there's another date 12.12.12 too.

I was hoping to fix this date as my wedding date but I don't think we have enough time for the preparation thus I will just KIV.

So on this day... just 2 days before my birthday! I decided to pamper myself.....

So i book appt to tame my eyebrows, satisfy my craft craving and also to go for a full body massage!!

Really happy and satisfy with my day as i managed to spend some time being alone and also with my friends, gossiping and chatting!

 This is the place where i did my pampering treat!

I was quite happy with their service, the therapist did quite a good job and I truly enjoy myself till i fall asleep. And I was quite happy that they aren't too pushy to ask me to continue to sign their package..

Anyway I had a happy day... and truly enjoy myself..

 Since long weekend is around the corner and I've purchased a Streetdeal voucher from the above resturant quite some time ago.... so I decided to use it..

Made my reservation few days before Sat. Didn't snap much photos because their service is really bad. It's as if i'm not even worth their time to serve. Both my bf and myself have decided that it's our first and our last time having our meals at this restaurant.

The deal consisted a 5 course pasta dinner.

Both of us feels that none is great, only the Pasta is good!

Why am I enjoying this long weekend? It's because Hari Raya Haji falls on a Sunday thus Monday I didn't have to go to work.. Seriously not having to work on Monday is pure bliss!

Cause there won't have any Monday Blues!!

As for item 1 & 2, I purchase from Gmarket.. I'm so into gmarket! So far, all the buyers that i purchased from are really good. Fast delivery and items are so cheap! Can't wait to get my hands on these item!!
