Bag Lust : Louis Vuitton

One of my many weakness is my lust for BAGS!!! To be honest, I have quite a lot of bags that will probably last me quite awhile.

Guess I bought the some bags when I was at States. Bought a total of 3 Kate Spade bags & 1 Marc Jacob bag. Alright, don't judge me. These bags are much cheaper in States than in Singapore. So since then it's been quite alright since I bought any branded bags... (don't count those that I bought on Taobao) ^_^

Till last December, a Givenchy Pandora bag added in to my collections.... and since then I acquire another Celine Phantom bag.

Didn't really think that I wanna add another bag to my ever growing collections of bags till recently I chance upon this bag...

Saw this lady carrying it while I was shopping at Sephora. It's been a classic design but I guess recently they must have bring in new colours.

Speedy 25 in full emboss leather

When I saw this bag, I was like wow... it's nice!! I wonder how much it cost??!

So today while I meet up S for brunch, we walked into LV store at ION and I saw this bag........ well it comes with a price tag of $3900 but the blue colour is sold out islandwide. I asked if will they be bringing in this colour again, SA told me that they discontinued this colour... 

So I thought... maybe I can consider this Speedy in daimer checkers instead.. SA told me that it cost $1880. Such a huge price difference because this is a treated canvas and the one above is full leather.

S was telling me that since it's sold out islandwide, guess I have to purchase it in another country...

Maybe it's cheaper too! Haha

Yes, I lust for this bag but I think I can consider the full leather or daimer checkers in the time being as I told myself that I'm not going to purchase another bag till maybe end of this year.

A good reason for me to gift myself as a birthday present? ^_^

Oh, did I also mention that my maternity leave is ending soon??! Like in a few days!!!!

Gonna miss this period of time.. will post on my maternity leave.

Scrapbook: May Layout & A Visit to MBS

Recently I sign up the Studio Calico online class, Sketchbook by Kelly Purkey.

Love all the sketches that I've seen so far.. and because I'm a pretty slow scrapper so there is my take on sketch 1 (there are 7 sketches already).

Sorry that I didn't have a better photo of my layout. Recently I've been so busy.. partly looking after Danielle when I fetch her back from infant care and partly busy going out!! Hehehe

Since it's the only time where I don't have to work and Danielle is in infant care. I managed to comb those places and eatery that I've been wanting to visit.

So expenses are kinda high for this month too... *Got to tighten my belt in June*

Where have I been? Well, the place that is on my top list is

Bath & Body Works @ MBS

It's almost like our local version of Body Shop except they dun sell makeups. I love love love love love Bath & Body Works. My first encounter with this brand, was a gf who recommended me body mist and the frangrance was Pearberry (Pear + Strawberry). Super love the fruity scent.

When I went to States in 2010, I lugged almost half luggage full of Bath n Body works stuffs. Body mist, shower gel, candles, room scents etc... than after, I didn't managed to purchase cause I think Vpost don't allow shipping of body mist.

Luckily some perfume shop in Lucky Plaza carried Bath & Body Works mist... so if I'm lucky, I can just purchase Pearberry mist off the shelf. If not, I got to wait and see who is going to States and so kind to bring the mist back for me...

I know that MBS is abit out of the way.. and I'm glad to know that they are going to open another outlet in Ngee Ann City!!! Yeah!!! I'm so going to be their regular customer!!

Au Chocolat (Bistro) @ MBS

One of the many cafes and restaurants that I've been dying to try. I know I'm most likely the last person to blog about this bistro.. but I must say.. their food are quite alright, just that its tad expensive.

Hot Chocolate

I ordered the Hot Chocolate drink.. the server kept reminding me that its hot. Even when I wanna lift the cup up to drink.. He reminded me that it's very hot. So I guess, they must have microwave the whole cup of this hot chocolate drink.

My verdict: I think it's way to chocolatey. I think there are better hot chocolate elsewhere.

My main of Ham & Cheese pancake. Not too bad.. 

My gf ordered this duck confetti dish. According to her, it's the must eat dish in this resturant. Too bad, I'm still breastfeeding. If not I would have order this dish cause its cooked with red wine... I think.

Lastly dessert... I wanted to go over to Marina Sq to try Lady M cakes. But my gf said that she wanted to try this.. so I said alright.

Not very to my liking too. And it's super huge.. think it would be just nice for 2 or more pax to share!

There are more cafes that I would like to explore. But too bad my maternity leave is ending soon...

Gotta plan and see which cafes are the ones that I really really wanna visit!!

A Letter from Me to you

Dear Danielle,

Right now, you're 3 months and 6 days old.  I have to say, since you're conceive... you didn't give mama a tough pregnancy. It fact, my pregnancy thru out was very smooth. You didn't give me really bad morning sickness nor very bad water retention towards the end of my pregnancy.

Giving birth to you was relatively easy, except that mama was too hungry and too tired to push you out so needed abit of assistance.

It's has been a joy watching you slowly getting bigger and chubby. Seeing that you've managed to reach your baby tiny milestones, makes me a proud mama.

Today is Mother's Day. Motherhood is a very amazing journey yet its tough. This is something that no one shares with me. Cause it's breaks my heart when I couldn't supply enough of my breastmilk to you.
Yet you strive so much on formula milk and you didn't reject mama's milk when I expressed out and bottled feed you. It hurts me when you're cranky and no matter what I do, can't soothe you. I'm sorry that I might have lost my temper and be a grumpy mama until papa comes to the rescue.

And yes, my heart really really felt so painful when I accidentally hurt you while I was trimming your nails. But you're a brave little girl, you just cried for abit and stop crying when you see my expression on my face...

Because of you, I learn to be a slightly better person. I learn to be a lot more patience with you. Even those nights where I'm already so beat, I try all my ways to make you comfortable and coax you to sleep. It brings me great joy just to see you fall asleep in my arms cause thus far... you will only fall so sound asleep in my arms.

It also make me happy that when other ppl is carrying you and you starts to fuss... the moment you're back in my arms... You're all quiet and smiley. You do know who is your MAMA!!!! ^_^v

Nothing can make my days brighter with you cheeky smile. Especially the ones that you gives me whenever I bathe you and when I give you kisses on your cheeks.

I can't wait for the day to come when you will hug me and plant a wet kiss on my cheeks and exclaim, "Happy Mother's Day".

No present from you yet because having you is my greatest gift.

Of cause, I can't resist getting myself something for my 1st Mother's Day.

A new lesson learn, a hand bouquet workshop. Just in time for Mother's Day

So Danielle, Mama can't wait to see you reach those tiny baby milestones and of cause I will be there all the way to witness and help you achieve it.

Our first staycation @ Sentosa

Being a new mother.. I've longed to go holidays because it will means that I can get undisturbed sleep.
Sounds like a bad mother but well, I think I deserved to have a night or two of undisturbed sleep after taking care of Danielle for the past 3 months.

At first, Hubs and I planned to go to Bali or Boracay. However these destinations required us to travel at least 4D3Ns. And we are quite reluctant to leave Danielle for 4 days... so this means it's a staycation!!

When I thought of staycation in Singapore, Sentosa immediately came to my mind. Since we got married in Sentosa @ Amara Sanctuary, we thought it's quite fitting for us to return there again.

However we planned to visit USS, so shortlisted 3 hotels.

1. Festive Hotel
2. Amara Sanctuary Resort
3. Siloso Beach Resort

In the end, we booked Siloso Beach Resort because they have a Roof Garden Suite with open air jacuzzi! We are sold and we just booked the dates immediately.

So on that day, we left Danielle with our trusted babysitter and felt a bit guilty because we are off to have fun and leave her with another person.... not sure if she misses us but we super miss her!
Apparently, Danielle do miss me cause she was looking for me the next morning when it's her bathe time! ^_^v Now I'm a proud mama!!

We managed to check in early and love the view that we have! Superb!

The Siloso Beach Resort has one of the highest man made waterfall and the longest landscape swimming pool. 

Because it's a eco-friendly hotel, their swimming pool does not contain chloride! Didn't head down to the pool as we didn't have the time!

If I stay another night, will definitely have a dip!

Room isn't very big.. Toilet is quite small... but the view compensates all!

After we have settled down, we went off to USS.. Luckily for us, we choose to have our staycation on the eve of public holiday.. and it's a weekday so wasn't that crowded.

Managed to took the rides that we didn't get to take the previous time we went.. however, I still don't get to ride the canopy ride at jurassic park!!!!

Should have purchased the express pass for $30 but Hubs refuse too cause it's not a PH and the park isn't that crowded. So don't want to waste money yet he refuse to que when the waiting time is more than 20 mins. Same goes for the Elmo ride... And I didn't get to snap any pictures with the characters.
Well, Guess this gives me another reason for a staycation at Sentosa again and a chance to revisit the park!!! Maybe we can visit the aquarium too! ^_~

In the evening, I head up to the open air roof to have a soak in the jacuzzi, listening to my mp3 and just relax.

It's pretty good to have a night all by myself, no need to look out for feeding time, change diapers and washing of milk bottles.

Just a night for myself. (Not too much to ask right?!) 

Next morning, I wake up early because I'm used to the morning timing as usually Danielle will wake me up for milk.

But since she is in babysitter's good hand... don't have to worry. Freshen up and headed for the buffet breakfast.

Kinda sad that the buffet breakfast isn't that fantastic but well, don't complaint. It's better than nothing.

As hubs woke up later, breakfast is over at the hotel. I requested for late check out as we headed to the Macdonald nearby to have breakfast.

I know that Mac is having the Hello Kitty promotion. Not a fan of Hello Kitty but since the auntie asks us and Hub say to buy for Danielle.. so here we have..

I might want to purchase the Pompompurin and TuxedoSam Hello Kitty. Quite cute! Heheh

After we checked out, we headed straight to babysitter's place to fetch her. Babysitter says that she was looking for me when she wanted to bathe her. Cried abit... 

Awww..... mummy's heartbreak!! 

See, she gives me the expression like, "Why you all leave me alone???"

While I'm away from her, I still express out my BM. Though its not alot... but still I wanna keep my supply going!!

And aren't these breast milk bag sooo cute? Got it at Kiddy Place for a box of 30pcs for $12.90!

I can't wait for our next staycation!!
