Our first letter from HDB

Just received a call from my bf that we received HDB letter saying that our first appointment will be on the 4th March 2012, 10am!!! Ahhh... So excited!! This will be our first big purchase and I'm really looking forward to having our home together! (^_^)

Excited and also feel kinda of worried that we might not have enough cash for weddings and other stuffs. But like what my colleague said, even if one is not getting married, one will always say that money is always not enough... So right now, We really got to work super hard and start saving alot!

Recently I haven been scrapping much... cos I'm always chasing after tv drama serials.
First is Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Glee, Gossip girls, Alcatraz and my all time favorite... TVB HK drama!!

This is the HK TVB drama that I'm currently watching...

Synopsis

Renovation contractor KWAN KA-ON (Michael Miu Kiu Wai) is the elder of four siblings, while his wife SZE LONG-KIU (Sonija Kwok) is a typical housewife. Buying a house is their longtime dream. But when his eldest brother, KWAN KA-HONG’s business goes under, they shelve their plan to help him overcome his difficulties. KIU has to look for a job too. Unwilling to see ON shoulder the burden on his own, KWAN KA-LOK (Linda Chung), the third of the siblings, turns to her supervisor GAO WANG-CHIM (Michael Tse) for assistance, resulting in her taking part in an indecent proposal. I feel that this drama is exactly what we young couples are encountering. Getting a HDB flat is really difficult and beside having the heavy burden of servicing the loan and renovation. Watching this drama makes me realized that we are really lucky that we managed to purchased a flat within our first try!!

My favourite TVB drama is having a sequel!!!

Yeah! Saw on twitter and also checked out YouTube videos on TVB 2012 drama presentation and finally Triumph in the Skies is having a sequel!!!

Triumph in the skies 1 - year 2003

I've been waiting for this sequel to happen for the longest time! It's also because of this movie, I'm so inspired to go to ROME for my honeymoon!




When the first Triumph in the Skies airs, I chase this drama relentlessness.. Never missed an episode. Imagine chasing this drama with 40 episodes. Still I love the Sam & Zoe character. Their proposal is sooo romantic. Yup, Mine wasn't that romantic but I think when I receive my wedding bands.. he's going to do something romantic. (I hope, keeping my fingers cross)

Seriously I can't wait for this drama to air!!!! Yeah one of the few tvb drama that I'm going to watch every night without fail!

Scrapbook Layout!

Printed these 2 photos quite a while ago but somehow i just couldn't sketch a suitable layout for these 2 photos.

So while been home alone and bf is teaching.. i multi tasked! I source for scrapbook ideas thru my archive of scrap booking photos that i like the scrapbook designer's style and design. And a very lazy scrapper, I scrap lift.. So while watching my TVB drama Relic Of An Emissary, I used the washi tapes to create a string of banner and slowly build up my layout...

Synopsis:
The story begins with the sons of the Hung-mo Emperor returning to the capital city as a show of filial piety to their father, who has fallen extremely ill. While pursuing a mission, Gamyi Wai agent Ngo Siu-fung loses his memory in an accident. He decides to start anew and change his ways of style, but his colleagues are unable to see past Siu-fung’s history of cruelty, and they continue to treat him unfairly. Fortunately for Siu-fung, he saves Chu Wan-man, grandson of the emperor, who has dressed himself in plain clothes to observe the commoners of the city. The two become good friends and Wan-man appoints Siu-fung as his personal bodyguard.

Impatient, Wan-man orders Siu-fung to find the edict as soon as possible to stabilize the chaotic situation. The powerful and intelligent fourth prince Chu Dai, titled the Prince of Yin, also sends his most trusted adviser Ma Sam-bo to investigate the case. Fighting to retrieve the edict, Siu-fung and Sam-bo undergo a battle of wits and skill. They start an ambiguous friendship – though they see each other as equals, they are unable to work together because their loyalties lie elsewhere.

The edict is retrieved and Wan-man ascends to the throne, crowned as the Kin-man Emperor. Soon after his coronation, mysterious cases begin to occur around the kingdom. Someone with an ulterior motive is intentionally framing Dai of starting a coup. Though Dai is later proven to be innocent, Wan-man becomes really cautious of him. Aware that the new emperor has intentions in killing him, Dai raises an army to overthrow him. Under the slogan of “clearing the court and pacifying national disaster” (清君側、靖國難), Dai starts a coup d’état, that is later known to be called the Jingnan campaign.

 I like this photo that we took at Changi Villiage... unlike other couples where they are on dates, they always either go out for coffee, lunch, dinner or movies. For us, we love to visit places like beach, parks or any places where we could just enjoy the nature view, snaps some photos and drink coffee...

 

巾帼枭雄之义海豪情 {No Regret}

This is one of the TVB drama not to be missed this year..

 

Synopsis

Set in the late 1930s to early 1940s in Canton, Republic of China, No Regrets is an epictriad family, the Guangzhou police force, and the Japanese Occupation of the city. The Chinese title of drama that centers around a No Regrets (巾幗梟雄之義海豪情) literally translates to "Veiled Heroine, Ruthless Hero: Righteous Sea, Heroic Passion", referring to both the chaotic period of war and the complicated relationship shared by the two main characters, Cheng Kau-mui (Sheren Tang) and Lau Sing (Wayne Lai).

Guangzhou is in a state of political turmoil in the 1930s. Gangsters are on a rampage and opium trading becomes rampant. As they watch the illicit profits from opium trading escalate, the government forms the Anti-Smoking Bureau under the guise of suppressing opium, but the bureau is under the influence of Cheng Long-kwan (Elliot Ngok), the gang’s kingpin. His eldest daughter Cheng Kau-mui (Sheren Tang) who is an unscrupulous person soon returns from Shanghai to reap the rewards. Mui meticulously plans her every move.

On the other hand, Lau Sing (Wayne Lai) is the leader of the Criminal Investigation Team. He has worked hard all his life to ensure an easy trail for his family, especially for his bed-ridden younger sister Lau Ching (Fala Chen). Despite his hot temper, he values friendship and brotherhood more than anything else. Once, he almost sacrificed his life to help his timid teammate, Tong Kat (Pierre Ngo).

Meanwhile, the Japanese army invades China and Canton falls into the hands of the Japanese. Mui enters the darkest time in her life when her aunt Cheng Long-hei (Susan Tse) frames her..


Ever since this drama premier.. i've been gluing my eyes either on the TV or on PPTV!! I believe [No Regrets] will bring a much greater heights than it's first sequel!
