Tim Ho Wan in SG!!!!

I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this poster stick at Plaza Singapura's new wing wall...

I think I didn't read properly that I actually retract my steps back and took a snapshot of this!!

It's opening its door to SG by Mid- March / April...

Seriously I cannot wait to eat at this 1 Michelin star restaurant . They said that Tim Ho Wan is the cheapest Michelin star restaurant and I can assure you, it is!

When I'm at Hongkong, I denfinately have to come here for their dim sum... i don't care if i need to que for 1 hour or so cos their food is really good and cheap!!

No more flying all the way to Hongkong for their famous dim sum!!

While waiting for our que number to be called.

Small dinning area. Don't expect to have a table to yourself. You have to share!

Long que already...

You can see all the chefs at work

Our bill come and it only cost us HK$122. Which is only SG$20 for 2 pax.

The famous BBQ pork bun

So juicy

My travel kaki, S love this pork ribs that she can ask for 2 serving! Hehe

I read on a online article that the Chef at Tim Ho Wan request that everything is to be the same as he has done back home. So I'm keeping my fingers cross that their standard don't drop!

Have a great weekend!

Hongkong & Macau Trip 2012: Day 3 Shopping day!

I guess this is the day where I spent the most $$!!! Cause shopping at Hongkong is really good!!
This time round, we didn't target any branded goods.. basically just our normal shopping of clothing, shoes and bags!!

We had a late start as we were both super tired from our day trip at Macau! So we woke up ard 9am.. wash up and set off to this famous dim sum restaurant. A must try if you're going there! It's the cheapest Michelin star awarded restaurant.

 添好運點心專門店
From our station Prince Edward we took the mtr to Yau Ma Tei and walk to Tim Ho Wan

See the que!!

Honeydew Vitasoy!

Did some research before I leave SG to HK and realised that they have another new store opened at Hongkong Station. Haven't really been to any of the rest of the branches, though i heard that the one at Shum Shui Po has no que at all... but i've always been to the one at Yau Ma Tei so decided to head back there to have our dim sum brunch!

Why is it brunch???! Cause by the time we reach the restaurant, there's already a long que waiting. So we took our que number and waited almost 1hr plus to get our table!!! But the wait is worth it.

My advice if you don't want to wait so long. Reach there by 930am.. the shop opens at 10am by 930am they start giving out que number!

Some random snaps as we had to wait for almost 1 hr for our que number to be called!

This bakery sells very nice breads! All freshly baked! Nice!

Finally @ ard 11plus - 12pm, we got our table!

The food is really good and cheap!! Bill come out to ard  HK$122.. which is SG$20!!! For 2 pax! OMG!! Where to find it in SG??!!!

After a full and satisfying lunch, we set off to Fa Yuen Street to shop! To be honest, I love shopping @ HK. Everything is so much cheaper than SG! We wanted to go shopping at New Town Mall @ Mong Kok but didn't have the time and chance! Well.. let's leave that area to be explore the next trip when we are there!! Hahhaha

It's always close to evening by the time we finish our shopping at Fa Yuen Street... so we went back to hotel and rest our feet, recharged and off we went to Ladies Market...

This time I didn't take my camera out with me.. as my shoulders are very tired from carrying the sling bag...
Maybe the next round, I should shoot the night life around Mong Kok area with my 50mm lens! ^^

All my loots!! ^^

I'm a happy girl... wondering when can i go back to Hongkong again?!

Post Hongkong Trip 2010 - Day 3 ~ Disneyland Resort My

This post will be about my 3rd day in Hongkong..

Before i make my trip to HK, I've been doing my homework.. and realise that many bloggers recommended this Dim Sum restaurant in Yau Ma Tei area, call Tim Ho Wan 添好運.
And it's been awarded 1 Michelin Star!

After seeing the photos, you will know that it's worth the 1hr plus waiting time!

Next stop.. we went straight to Disneyland after our Dim Sum... though I've been to Hongkong's Disneyland for the 3rd time.. Still, Disneyland will always hold a special charm on me..
There wasn't any parade on the day that i visit cos they are preparing for the Christmas theme... but nevertheless.. i managed to watch the Golden Mickey show which i haven't seen before.. cos there aren't time to watch when im at Disneyland.. And i took the roller coaster ride at Tomorrowland! And for the 1st time, I manage to snap a picture with Sitch!!

Brought a mini christmas hat... just nice for the christmas party that I'll having this weekend at my office!
As usual the que to take photo with Minnie and Mickey is super long.. thus i didn't que...

Using my 55-250mm lens to take this shot!

My very first photo with Stich!!

Finally get to take photo with Snow White.. Now Im left with Sleeping Beauty & Mulan!

Buzz LightYear...

Rushing here and there to take photos with Disney characters and rides.. makes us forget about dinner!!! But i didn't want to have dinner thus we tahan our hunger.. Watch fireworks and make our way back...

Watch out for my next post on my Da Pang Tong...
