Difficult people we encounter at work

Finally after months, life at office is back to normal. I would say its a good riddance especially when you have to work with someone who isn't a team player. A stalker and evil person yet she thinks the whole dept is against her.

Many a times, I feel like just telling her straight to her face that what is the problem here?? My boss once suggest that we have an open meeting and talk about our communication issue. I am for this idea. Because I'm here to work and to me its important that colleagues work together as a team and communicate.

I personally agree that I may not be the most meticulous person when it comes to work. I make mistakes, I overlooked certain things and I might misunderstood / miscommunication. I may arrive late at work. But I always trust and respect my fellow colleagues.

One thing that I never never ever do is to stalk my colleagues nor do i not invade their privacy. Even if its means desktop login id & password is right in front of you, it's meant for work convenience , not for people to snoop and check online messages that I can.

Seriously if were to rant about this ex colleague of mine... the post will be a damn lengthly one. But ultimately, invasion of privacy is wrong even though under Singapore Law there is no per se action. Still you DO NOT invade ppl's privacy.

After all, what benefit do you get?

Okay.. enough of my complain.

I'm just glad that she is out of my company. I seriously wish her all the best and i pray hard for her new colleagues to come. Hopefully they don't get stalk by her. ^_~

Tough Day...

What happens to you and your working environment if you have a colleague that simply can't work with you?

When we studies Organization Behavior, all theories encourage us to COMMUNICATE. What happen if this 1 person you simple just can't communicate?

 I wonder, do I have communication problem? Thus far, I have been able to work reasonably well with my fellow colleagues. I wonder if I need to level up my tolerance level toward this person? But then again, I question myself? I took this job because of the salary, the environment and I learn to adapt to my fellow colleagues working style.  Before all these drama, all this well.

Granted, I'm not the most perfect person, in fact I'm a imperfect person who makes mistakes along the way. But I'm glad that my upbringing taught me well. Never use a RUDE or SARCASTIC tone on anyone. No one like to received rude comments or sarcastic remarks.

So what am I going to do or how am I going to deal with it? Let us see along the way.....

Friendship...

I've been itching to go for a photoshoot with my girlfriends!!

Initially we wanted to get Melody (from Oh! Dear Photography) to shoot for us but many of my girls friends aren't very keen as each of us have to pay about $80 so 1 of them suggested me to do the shoot to commemorate our friendship! And I thought, "Why not?!". I get to practice my skills!

We have yet to set a date for the shoot as many of us are working and each have different schedule. So lets hope that we can have a date where it's good for all.

Guess its time I start to think seriously of my interest and pursue it and make full use of what I love to do!

It's time to do some serious planning for my future.

Friends...

We all have friends in our life. I can't image how our lives will be without any friends..

I'm not a very social kind of person. My circle of friends are kinda of small and those that I keep in contacts are usually my very close friends.

I guess we have this 1 - 2 best friends who are always there for us, help us, guide us, act silly and do all sorts of rubbish, laugh and cry with us. I do have such friends and am very fortunate to have at least 2 of them.

But I have this 1 friend, her friendship is the longest to me. She's supposed to be my best friends of all the best friend. Cause we grew up together.... we were closed during teenage years but when we reach adulthood, the relationship starts to distance. To the point that each time she look for me, it's about $$$.

I would help out as and when I can.. and than she will promise to return at a certain date. Usually for me, I don't like to ask ppl back for $$ cause I look at it as a mutual trust. You say this date and I trust you. Period.
But for me, that date never come and until you ask for it that she will make arrangement to return.

Recently this 'issue' has been reoccurring every month!!! It is really very bad, every month you over budget? Perhaps it's time to think of a way to overcome this problem? Maybe taking a PT job?

Even I'm also contemplating to do a weekend PT job! With bills, savings, expenses plus I'm planing for honeymoon & maybe a kid along the way... guess $$ will be tight..

Haiz.... is it because such good buddies already so it can be taken for granted? So this time round, I said, "NO" and will continue to do so. Yes, you may think I'm selfish. Friends for so long and you don't want to help. But helping people so have a limit to it! Would you think she will help me when I'm in need?

Haiz... what a moody Wednesday...

Ten Commandments of Love..

I saw from someone's facebook that her jie mei created a board of Ten Commandments of Love for the groom to sign when he did his gatecrash..

Thought that it's interesting!! Maybe I should do 1 for myself too!! Hehehe...

Not quite sure what are the Ten Commandments really is.. cos I'm not christen.. But I went to my good friend, Google to check out. I know it's orgin from bible. But I search of Ten Commandments of Love.
And all I can get is some singer's lyrics. Which I think it's good enough.. Hahahah 
Anyway my wedding is next year. So I have more than enough time to really think about it and what I would like to improvise. ^^

At least 1 year to plan, think, create! 

So recently with my new job change, I have more time on hand... mainly because Im still very new at my job and currently it's the low season.. thus I have more relax time and "ME" time on weekends!

So I SCRAP!! I have been scrapping lots recently because I didn't snap more photos lately. Both Mr Lee & I are pretty busy... and I haven got the time to print out my photos and partly because my selphy printer ink is running out so I didn't replenish it yet! Soon.... cos I'll be attending wedding showcase and hotel site visit for potential wedding venue. Might even do a layout on my resource trip..

My BFF @ Work.. we have known each other for 8 years & still counting!

Soon I'll be shifting to stay with Mr Lee... i'm slowing clearing away my papers and use up as much scrapping materials I have right now. I can imagine the headache I'll encounter when I'm ready to shift.

Better not think of it yet..

Farewell Dinner @ Seafood Paradise...

Recently my department celebrate my farewell tgt with another colleague who is leaving too at Seafood Paradise @ Defu Lane area..

Its my second time there.. the crabs are really delicious!!! Thought the bill comes up to be quite costly.. but i can it's a nice gathering!

End of May... is my colleague's last day at work. Quite an emotion outburst. Which i think it's normal cos we have been working together for almost 7-8 years tgt. To leave such a comfortable environment and move on to a brand new is quite alien to anyone for us. But we must move on!

Mine will be end of June. I hope that I'm able to hold my tears back when i bid my farewell to all my wonderful colleagues.... And I hope that we can always stay in touch...

Tgt with a few of my colleagues we bought this crystal pen for my crazy colleague... tempted to get 1 for myself too...
Esp the all white crystal pen! <3 it to the max!!

Come July will be a brand new start for me and I'm excited about my new changes..
