Friendship

For me, all along I dun have much friends. Those friends that I'm constantly in touch with are the ones I truly called Friends.

Friendship are also a test of time. After sometime.. Friends get distance away to the point where they only contact you when they needed your help. Now I have become "friends with benefits"?

So I wondered why did I bother to send occasional tects to see how are you and stuffs. But the other party just never send those kind of text and yet can find excuses. Saying things like, they are busy with work, kids and stuffs.

Hello.. Don't I have to work and have a kid? So if I can spare that little moment to text you.. Why can't you?

Bottom line.. If they truly treat you as a friend. They will always send a text as and when just so you know that you were on their mind. That they value this friendship.

Life is so unpredictable...

On New Year's Day... I saw my dad and he gave me away on my wedding...

Met him again around Chinese New Year and pass him our wedding day images...

Today I went hospital to visit him.... he look so frail.

I hope that now he finds God in his life... he has the strong willpower to fight this.

Cause I hope that someday when I have a kid... he is around to carry his first grandchild...

My dream... & goals??!

At the age of 28 years old going to 29 years old.. I find myself at a turning point.
It seems that I've spent most of my adulthood, working, traveling, spending money and etc. I feel that I didn't achieve anything beside the point that I got married and have a HDB flat.

For my career, I spent 8 years working at Yamaha Music (Asia). From part time staff to full time staff. I switch from Contemporary Music School to the Yamaha Music School and than transfer to head office to do backend admin support jobs for all the music school. Still none of the achievement that I can really shoutout. All I have is experience from front-line to back end work.
Having been in the working field for so long, many will think that I have saved alot of money.. Hmm, that you're wrong! I suck in this department!! I hardly save. That is really bad........ but I'm trying hard to work this out and hopefully I can learn to save more than usual.

Work can be quite mundane... but still with my new change of job, it has brought me new challenges and I hope I can achieved abit of something in my new work place.

I'm hoping that someday... I can do something that I truly enjoy and love!!

Late Night around MBS area

Had some fun snapping around Marina Bay Sands area on last Friday night..

Prior to that, my mood was alittle grumpy.. but some how after that night, my mood got better!!

Well.. managed to shoot in bulb mood for some of the picture.. but i think the effect will be better if i brought my tripod along. Anyway, gorliapod serve her purpose well soon!

I used to purchase a 16GB SD card @ $20++ but it's selling for $12.90!!
Wonder if i can get a better deal during IT Fair this coming week.. Maybe the 32GB one?

Haven been updating nor scraping much for these past 2 mths. Mainly because I've been very busy with work and also falling in love with a silly guy who can make me laugh / smile at whatever he says...

Despite my mini hiatus.. I will continue to find my inspiration for scraping.. I think by this month is over. I will scrap a few layouts and maybe some mini projects.. Haha

Year 2011 - Ushering the Rabbit Year!

Went to Chinatown 2 weeks before Chinese New Year to take photos and as well to have a feel of it's atmosphere. To me, Chinese New Year is like lots of spring cleaning, getting new haircut / hairstyle,, new clothings and lots of new year goodies. But most importantly the quality time spent with my family.

Like many families in Singapore.. all the family members have different working schedule. Thus it's always a challenging to organize family gathering. So Chinese New Year is a time where my family will seat down and have lunch / dinner together. We will make have move time or somewhere, where we could take photos...

But still it's still kinda of boring, cos shops are closed. There is basically nothing much to do in Singapore. Everyone will either go chalet or Santosa where Universal Studios is..... if not movie watching. Seriously i think next year if Chinese New Year happens to fall on a long weekend, Im going to bring my family to where near by. A short trip!

All set to welcome.. Rabit Year 2011

Tomorrow will be Chinese New Year.. will be having our reunion dinner at home this time, last year my family and i went to Red House for our reunion dinner.. Fair was so so.. quite expensive too. So this year, my mother decided to have dinner at home!!

Hmm.. I can't wait for tomorrow's dinner cos this year i got a dslr with tripod and i finally can snap another family photo!! Yeah!! Hehe

As for spring cleaning.. I can't make friend with dust so it's very irritating for me to clean my room.. But somehow most of the areas are clean. Just need to clean it again tomorrow as it's my house rule that we can't do any cleaning after the 2nd day of CNY. =)

New hair color and trim. Brought new shoes! Bling Bling type..  And a new set of manicured nails!
Didn't buy any new bags for this cny cos.. I've simply too many bags!! And most of them are still very new!

Im soo loving my new nails! I think I abit crazy that i can't stop admiring my nails! Haha

Time to hit the bed.. Still got to work half day tomorrow. How come i think i didn't purchase enough tops. Hmmm.. maybe i should do a last min shopping!

Recent Happenings...

What had happened to Felicia???

1) Had some relationship problem... But now, feels much better and a dead load off her shoulder and heart!

2) Fall sick! =( 

    I've always seems to fall sick so easily...

3) Lost of appetite.. maybe due to my recent illness, i didn't eat much but! I think I might have slim down.. (hehe)

4) Watching all my TVB Dramas - Just finish watching A Fistful of Stances ( 鐵馬尋橋) and Can’t Buy Me Love (公主嫁到)

5) Reading my novels.. a hobby that i've temporary stop because i've been watching videos on my iphone that i didn't have enough time to read when I'm traveling to and fro from work.. Can't wait to start reading my romance novels again! (^_^v)

6) Soooo hooked to online shopping, especially Gmarket!! Brought 2 tops already! And Im already eyeing on some more items!! wahahahahahah

Weekends coming.. plans to scrap a layout and also to complete my back logs on my daily notes journal.. hehe
