Now I know

It's been 20 months since I'm a mother. I have my share of ups and downs... and I'm sure this feeling of motherhood will last me a long long time.. but it's only recently, in fact this week that the meaning of Motherhood hits me hard.

All these while Baby D maybe a stubborn girl but still she is a happy girl.. a bit of reasoning, a bit of bribing, she will still listen to us. But this week, she caught the flu virus bad and it isn't her first time that she caught it.

It was so bad that she had high fever.. the moment baby D has high fever, all she wants is just Mama. I can't leave her sight to make milk nor prepare the medicine. It seems that only my presence can calm her.. my voice can sooth her and my hugs and kisses can heal her.

It is this notation that makes me think that Motherhood is really wonderful. I'm still in awe that this little human being is soo independent and yet so dependant on Mama. How long will baby D be dependant on me till? All these will go away the moment she has grown up. Some day it will reach to point when my voice can't sooth her nor my hugs and kisses has magical kisses.

I may complain that I dun have time for myself and it is tough to juggle between a wife, full time working adult and a mother.

Babies dun keep. I'm just gonna increase my patience level and enjoy this journey!

December.. the most wonderful time of the year

I've always love December! Cause its Christmas time and its' the end of the year! However this year… there is something more for me to look forward.

Face is getting rounder as I approach my 3rd trimester… another 2 more months till I pop.

I'm so in love with my Novalash Eyelash Extension.

Quite a couple of years back, I did eyelash extensions at one of those far east - bugis kinda of store that do those hair extensions and eyelash extensions….

I tried on eyelash extension (in a cluster kind)… was quite amazed that it looks like I'm having a false eyelashes on but in terms of length.. not as long as a false eyelash.. but it's wasn't very natural and I personally find the adhesive that they used were kinda strong and it sting my eyes. Especially after I wash my face… That was my first try on eyelash extensions.

It was till recently when I got pregnant and for some reason, I keep tearing whenever I put on my false eyelash.. So I decided to try eyelash extension again. Wanted to try browhas one. But the pricing was kinda expensive. So I kept an lookout in Groupon to see if there any good deals. And I saw 1…

Novalash Eyelash Extension…..

Gave it a try and I like it. They did it strand by strand… and the adhesive wasn't very strong. It's so natural that I didn't feel like I have anything on my eyelash…

It's been almost 2 weeks plus since I did this set of eyelash… have been tempting to go back again to do touch up… But it cost me $99 for touch up.. Hmm…… Or maybe I should try out Browhas one… since without groupon deal.. their pricing is almost on par…

3.  Presents for myself and my husband!

Got this watch as my birthday gift… This is my 2nd Fossil Watch.

Got myself a Fossil Watch as a belated birthday present for myself. This is my 2nd Fossil watch and the first one that I have lasted me since 2006 till now… I'm not the kind of gal who like to change their watch as they match their outfits. So Im happy with just 1 or 2 watches.. 

Told hubby that I wanted this bag as Christmas gift.. knowing that he won't walked into the shop and get it for me.. So I did… and he paid for it! Yeah!!!

Givenchy - Pandora… you're finally mine… You're going to be my staple bag! ^_^v

Hubby told me that he wanted to purchase this guitar…. I actually secretly purchased him something else. So I pretend and say this guitar should be his Christmas gift...

And since our wedding anniversary is just days away… this Mont Blanc wallet.. shall be his wedding anniversary gift!

Even Baby Danielle has presents too… Her clothing that I purchase during Black Friday sales arrived just in time for Christmas..

I couldn't resist shopping for more clothing for Baby Danielle!!! All those little girls clothing are super super cute!!!

Hey there! A little update on myself!

It's rather rare for me these to have the energy to sit down and start to type out my post.. cause ever since I got preggy, my energy level is just super low. All I want to do is eat and sleep especially when its on a weekend.

So here is a little update on my baby bump

Week: 16th & 4 days

Baby Size: Of an avocado

Length: About 11cm from head to heel

Weight: Last I checked, I gain about 1.5kg. 

Craving: Sour & Sweets stuffs (Eg, Tom Yam, Mee Siam, Yoghurt, Cranberry Juice and Kiwi)

Sickness: As I entered my 2nd trimester, I said "goodbye" to my nausea feeling which I constantly have when I was in my 1st trimester. However, I seems to have this nagging headache that is constantly bugging me. The pain is still bearable which if i concentrate on other stuffs, I will forget about the ache.

Guess it's time for me to go for neck and shoulder massage! 

Prenatal Preparation: I've been contemplating to sign up for prenatal yoga... but I kinda of lazy. Cause the center is at Tanglin Mall and I worked at Bencoolen Street... Not exactly the easiest way to go there. So I'm still considering thought I can start to join anytime now.

I tried to let baby listen to more music (Eg, Jazz, Classical, New Age and Bosa Nova) and I picked up reading again. So before bedtime, I will read my novels and listen to music for baby's simulation. And on alternate days, I catch up on my TV drama. =)

My current favourite. 

Recently I'm abit lazy and lag on my scrapbooking pages.. which I will try to catch up as soon as I have that little burst of energy again! 

Did I mention my baby's gender yet? Hehehe...  Keep it a little secret first cause I am scheduled for my 20 weeks screening in a month's time. Which then we will have a confirmation of our baby's gender...

So excitied and I can't wait to see baby via the ultrasound again!

We are truly blessed..

We are truly truly blessed... for thru us he has given us life to one.

If you have seen my IG, you would have realized that I'm PREGNANT!! ^_^

Hehehe... Baby is made in Singapore and not in Bali. In fact, I have already conceived my little one when we are on our trip to Bali! And baby is coming soon in Feb 2014

This week marks my final lap of my first trimester! Say hello to week 12~~

Just went for my FTS this afternoon at RadLink, Paragon.. waited almost 3 hours plus for my whole screening to be done. All I need to do is 1) Draw blood for blood test 2) Ultrasound

Glad that Mr Lee went with me for the screening cause when he was there with me when I need to draw blood, the whole process doesn't seems so painful.  ^_^

Didn't take any pictures today cause I was anxious about my screening today but after my ultrasound, I feel at least 50% relief.

Cause I see my little one is super active today. Baby is already like a human form and is stretching and kicking inside! Both Mr Lee and I were overjoy cause it seems like baby just open his/her palm and waved at us! Haha. We were all smiling cause we are happy to see baby so active inside.
Heart beat can be heard loud and clear! It's beating fast right now cause his/her little heart starts to pump blood all over his/her body!

Right now I have to endure another 4 days before I can get my test results from my gynae.

I hope everything is fine...

My little one, no one will ever know the strength of my love for you. After all, you're the only one that knows what my heart sounds like from inside!!

Incomparable Love...

There is no other love in this world that can be compared to a love from a mother to her child...

Father's Day...

Happy Father's Day to all daddy in this world.


After many years, this is my first time celebrating Father's Day with my dad. I hope he likes the stuffs that I do for him.

I will always remember him...

The man who came to my wedding and gave me away. Who is always always ever eager to meet my brother and I... Even if he have prior golfing appointments, he will cancel it and turn up just to have dinner with us.

I hope that I had more time with him but God has better plans... 

He taught me a lesson ; Never take someone for granted. Treasure your love ones.

My dear husband posted this on his facebook status while I'm deep asleep.

It's been 3 years!

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and it's also our 3rd year dating anniversary.

Applied half day leave to spend some quality dating time with Mr Lee..... Some might know, Mr Lee isn't the most romantic guy on earth. Nay... he won't present me with flowers, expensive / fancy gifts or dinner..
His way of celebrating - IS TO SPEND TIME WITH ME.

Yup... that is his way. I'm not complaining here because that's just how I want to spend my time with him.

He is just the perfect guy for me...

My husband, the one I can lean on, cheer me up and always make me smile / laugh.
The one I love most.

Love is not just finding the right person, but creating a right relationship. Its not about how much love  you have in the beginning but how much love you have build in the end.

Wondering where should we go for our Valentine's Day date??

Anxious feeling

Maybe it's the pre wedding jitters! Or I'm easily influence by other ppl??

Recently I come across 2 blogs about bride to be who are happily preparing their wedding and the next min is it's cancelled off. And beside reading from other ppl's blogs, I've also heard stories from my friend's friend who cancel their wedding. Mostly they felt they are not ready for marriage or invasion of 3rd party.Which I feel so sad for them.

Reading and hearing all these makes me worry for nothing. Until I share all of this with Mr Lee, and he just smile at me and said, "if i do not have the commitment for you, I wouldn't purchase that engagement ring for me with all that i have". My reply to him was, "Marriage is not easy, so long we both are willing to try and make it work, I guess nothing is impossible". Plus I'm pretty sure he is full of love for me. (^_~)

With my wedding date getting nearer.. some of my married friends gave me advice. To make the marriage works, you have to learn to compromise, trust and have faith in each other.

So I did this poster out of fun and also to remind us of LOVE.

Take time

Take time to relax and do what you love to do...

I've always love scrapbooking and photography. Though recently I've been snapping much due to busy work and wedding preparation. Perhaps next year I can get enough time to indulge in this passion of mine again?!

I did a little layout for our wedding... I was inspired by another lady who did this Ten Commandments of Love for her client. They actually use this layout for the groom to sign on. Which I think it's very nice cause I find that the usual cheesy promises that the groom has to made is too ridiculous  So I thought for a change, why not do this.. Which I think we both can sign as this will apply to both of us in this marriage.

I've yet to stick on the ten commandments on the layout but I hope Mr Lee won't ban this idea. Heheheh

I hope to chance upon a picture somewhere online - can't remember! That they have this word "LOVE" spelled on a dollie paper and hang across the tree branch with a brunch of their photos clipped above. This idea stick in my head for a long time. So i managed to get it done. And I hope on the day of my wedding.. the effect will be just as how i remembered!

I just received an email from a vendor who is decorating my crystal hand bouquet for me that it's ready for collection!!!! I can't wait to see!!

Love.... never fails

With the wedding date getting nearer... I'm getting excited.

My ideas keeps flowing thru me until I have to stop myself for doing so much. Because less is more!

So I've decided to keep the decorations at the Shutters Restuarant where we will be having our dinner at, to the minimum. With some paper pom poms hanging and with mixture of paper rosettes.

And also pin wheels to be placed at the guests tables!


I hope all will go well for our wedding...

My thoughts...

Time really flies with an blink of an eye!!

I didn't realized that it's coming to the end of Oct.

November is coming in less than a weeks time. November is going to be a busy month for me cos it's also my office's busy period with enrolment coming up. It's my first enrolment period with them and I have no idea how busy or chaotic it will be.

Thus I'm preparing myself for the enrolment both physically and mentally. Let's hope that I can do well in this enrolment, so that my probation can end early!! Hahah (*keeping my fingers cross*)

Beside getting busy at work.. my wedding preparation can come to standstill cos there is nothing much on my side to plan. It's down to Mr Lee side. Like confirm his "brothers", settle wedding live band, clean up his room and purchasing furniture. As for me, I've already 70% confirm my guest list and my bridesmaids  attire has been settled too, let hope that there is no last min changes with the dresses. Gifts for my bridesmaids are also done. All left to do is to collect their corsage and awaits for my Hens' Night!

Oh, my birthday is coming soon too!! This year I will be 28 years old. So let's see what I've accomplished within this year when I'm 27 years!

1. Pass my driving license
2. Had changed my job
3. Took Skyride and luge ride @ Sentosa 
4. Control my shopping urges (Eg, buying bags & shoes)
5. Have a healthier lifestyle
6. Curb my spending.. 
7. Planning my wedding - my marriage to my best friend (^_^v)
8. Had my pre wedding photo shoot
9. DIY my own pre wedding album
10. Printed my own first photo canvas
11. Resume back my electone class

And when I'm 28 years old... what I hope to do

1. Learn something new
2. Upgrade my camera and practice more to photograph better
3. Practice my electone and aim to take my Grade 6 exam
4. Save more $$
5. Clear off any debts that I have before my next birthday
6. Be more understanding and have lots patience cos I'm someone's wife soon.
7. Eat more fruits and vegetables!
8. Visit a country (which I've never been before) - so that I won't keep going back to Hongkong

I'm so looking forward to this Friday cos it's long weekend!! YEAH!!

It's been awhile since i bring my EOS out for some good shooting, perhaps this weekend is a good chance!

Our Good Friday date!

I have been wanting to visit the Titanic Exhibition since they have here in SG... Only till today than we have the time to visit Titanic together!

So off we go... braving a super heavy rain in BBP area in early afternoon! God must have know that today is the only day where we could hang out tgt for almost a whole day so he bless us with good weather!

Photography is strictly prohibited but i still managed to snap bit here and there! I really like how they recreate the Promenade - (open deck)... It's almost like we are at Titanic herself... We can feel the breeze (of cos, it's due to the premises' strong air con) and the stars. And at that moment we said to each other, we must go on a cruise together! Somehow we will get to enjoy the actual sea breeze!

In this gallery, we were showed how the Titanic sink, an iceberg that loomed out the calm night of the tragedy. An actual sheet of ice to experience the freezing waters of the North Atlantic..

Everyone was given a boarding pass which indicate the passengers' name that board Titanic... and at the end of the gallery, we could search and see if the passenger survived the ordeal..

Both bf n I managed to view the whole gallery within an hour but we think it's really fun and amazing. A little bit sad cos from the listing of over 2200 passengers, we saw many 1st class passengers where saved where as the 3rd class and crews did not survived the ordeal... To me, I think all the point of time..being the in the 1st class socitey means you're who and who.. thus given priority... but i read from the gallery that many passengers from the 3rd class are working class..

Right after Titanic, we made our way to Marina Square... had our early dinner and went up to Prize Stage to try our luck. And result = no lucky catch today!

And we ended our date with a quick check on our future home progress... (^_^v)

We saw more machinery on site but they don't seem to do any piling yet.. both bf and I think maybe by the next 3 years we can receive our key! Gotta to work really hard!! Jia you!

Treasure our moments together

Ever since both my bf and I have decided that we are "The One" for each other.. we have been very busy working.

For me, like other post before I've been taking as much OTs I can at work. 

And for bf, he's teaching almost 7 days a week. Teaching 2 different time slot. morning @ public schools and afternoon @ private institutions. Recently he's discussing with me about joining MOE, so that he can fixed timing and rest days. Which I totally agree and would very much preferred this plan of his. So we can keeping our fingers cross that he's able to get the job!

Having said that, this means that our dating is very precious. Cos we both had hardly any time for each other.

I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder! Each week, I'm always looking forward to Friday or Sat to meet him as these are the only days where we will have sleepovers and each other house. (^_^)

As for our wedding plans.... not much have of the items that we planned are concrete. 

Like previously, we wanted to have our prewed photos taken in HK.. factoring in the expenses, accom and air tixs.Isn't very worth it... As it's not really what i wanted. Cos I would much prefer a casual engagement shots and it will be good if i can be photographed with my wedding grown.

So we decided to stick to home ground. And we have decided on 1 photographer, which i shall share more on my next post! Haven't paid the deposit yet so I don't want to jinx it!

What am I feeling

In this month, Jan...

I feel thankful & bliss...

Thankful for all the lessons and memories that I have in Year 2011 makes me a stronger, smarter, wiser person in year 2012.

Blissful is all because of LOVE.

I've my family love.... thought my mother always grumble, my youngest brother don't talk to anyone of us in the family. Still I love them the same.

Friends who are there... to listen to my grumbles, complains, thoughts and many other things!

Last but not least... A guy who loves me just the way I am. It's really funny that he don't think I'm pretty or hot... He finds me soo cute that he refers me to Carebear! ^_^

In another 2 weeks, it's going to CNY! Looking forward to have my fiance in my family for CNY celebrations and as his too.

I love our DATES!

Bf and I may not have alot of time to go out on a date.. But every time we manage to find time for each other, it's a wonderful time spent.

This picture was taken quite a few months ago, where we went to Changi Village to take photo of Sunset... but the weather that day was way too warm thus we change our location to Pasir Ris in the evening.

It's been quite awhile since we go out together, cos Bf is completing his final lap of his studies and at the same time he has to manage his teaching hours as well. And as for me, monday - friday is all work and occassionally weekends, i have to work too. So we really treasure every single moment we have together...
