I'm 1 year older!!

Woohoo!! I'm 28 years old today! Not that I'm excited for getting old but in fact I'm celebrating this 28 year old as a single gal, a gf to Mr Lee..

Cos when it's my 29th birthday... I'm a Mrs Lee!

Nothing much to comment about my birthday cos I'm too old to celebrate with cakes and what nots.. Do not want the candles on the cake to remind me that I'm getting old. I'm forever 22! Hahahahaha

I love how Mr Lee and I spend our quality time together, watching movies / tv drama serials with a glass of wine and packs of chips... dozing off in each other arms, wake up and have brunch together.

And Mr Lee purchased something for me that I've always wanted to buy but bu she de!! It's a super expensive (to me lah...) Photoshop actions!! I've fall in love the moment I saw it.. but something hesitate me to purchase. THE PRICE TAG!!! It's at USD$169! Gosh... it's SGD$200!!!

But it's worth the money!! Let me show u the before and after photos!

After Mr Lee purchased these for me and help me to load on my lappy!! I was over the moon!! Heheh!! I can't stop kissing him and say thank you!! He smile bashfully and say, "Anything you want, I will always try to give you!"... So lucky to have a hubby like him! =)

And because it's my birthday today, he bought me to Goldheart to purchase my wedding gift! Initially  I wanted to purchase 916 gold collections but their RoseGold collection catch my eyes. We were quite hesitate to purchase cos it's rosegold and afraid it's not suitable because of traditional "rules". Mr Lee knows that I like to rosegold collections so he secretly made a call to his mom to check. And when I came back from toilet he said, let purchase what you like!! I'm like, YEAH!!

We ended our date with a visit to your futer abode... we are so excited to see that it's progress to 2nd floor and back home to rest, chat and order take away food for dinner!

It's an ordinary celebration for my birthday but it's just want i wanted - to spend quality time with my love one!

Wedding preparation: Filed! + Hair Trial

Yesterday night both Mr Lee and I finally have the time to sit down together and do our filing of the marriage!!!

Supposed to filed this in October but Mr Lee was kinda busy and I was busy settling other stuffs of the wedding..

For filing of marriage, couples will have to serve the 21 days notice, if case anyone objects (which i highly doubt it).. hehe.. The earliest we can file our notice is 5th Oct and latest date was 10th Dec 2012.

Previously we have already gotten our JP's license number, met up with him and he has signed the consent letter. Once you have that in order, next thing is to prepare 2 witness IC number. For both of us, get our mothers to be our witness.

Finally we settled this important step of getting married! Countdown to another 1 month and 20 days!!

Tomorrow I'll heading to Sattine for my hair trial and Mr Lee's jacket and pants selections.

I've collated afew hair styles that I love and I hope that these hairstyle can suit my wedding gowns!

Wedding Preparation: Selections of Actual Day Gowns

I realized that I didn't blog about my selections of gown.

Last month, in Oct.. my company happened to have a "Fun Day" whereby all stuffs and students get a day off to hang out and have fun @ Sentosa.. Since I don't have to work and it's a Friday, So I took the opportunity to make an appt with Irene (my bridal coordinator @ Sattine) to do my selections for AD gowns. Cos I know in November I will be super busy!

And I highly doubt that I want to go over in weekends cos there will be other brides to be coming up to inquire and do other stuffs. I rather do it on a week day cos that is more attention from my bridal coordinator!

My mother and my bff from work and childhood friend can't make it for my appt to do the selections. So I went with another 2 gfs to help me with my selections.

I think I tried like 7-8 bridal gowns. It's a tough choice cause all of their bridal gowns are so gorgeous!

A Classic & Timeless full lace sweet heart gown. If I have a church wedding, this will be the dress!

And the dress fits me nicely! Showing just the right amount of cleavage too!

                                                

Didn't consider these 2 gowns as the first one is way too simple. It's very pretty and lightweight, super easy to wear! But it's not what I'm looking for.

As for the 2nd dress with the off shoulder, Its so tight that it restrict my hand movement. So it's out too!

I tried on a total of 8 wedding gowns. These are the ones that i tried on and finally I choose 1. Din't want to post it up so you guys will have to wait till it's the actual day!

Next up : Evening Gowns

To be honest, I'm quite disappointed with Sattine's limited variteies of EG. Irene let me tried some EGs as I couldn't decide which WG to choose and since that I'm having a outdoor solemnization and wedding buffet, her concern for me is my movement. If i choose a too heavy dress, my movement will be restricted. So to choose my EG than decided what type of WG to choose.

I told Irene that I wanted RED colour for my EG cos I'm so in love with Vera Wang's new seasons of bridal gowns. As you can guess, it's all in RED. Super nice shades of red. Unfortunately Sattine only have serveral red EGs that is suitable for me. Which none i really like.

They do have beautiful evening gowns. But I just tad disappointed that the red evening dresses isn't that suitable. Except for the last evening dress.. When I wear it, it just feel so "ME".. that Irene said that she can let me have it as my Tea Dress. It's so light weight and flowly! So love it!

Like the WG, I'm not going to post my EG. But I can say it's a tiffany blue gown with 2 tone colours. And the skirt has simmering netting! I practically just sparkler with every movement! I love love love love this evening gown!

I can't wait to see the dresses that I've choose!! My first fitting is coming real soon!

1 month & 27 days to go before I change my status to Mrs Lee...

My weakness & addiction: TV Drama Serial

Ever since I start working or rather during my Sec & ITE school days I've always love to watch TV drama serials. Esp on those off days where I have nothing to do or no where to go. I will sit in front of my tv and watch my drama marathon. Disc after disc.. NON STOP!

Esp Hongkong dramas... I would even rent the dvd at the local shop that specialize in rental HK dramas to SG ppl cos we don't get to watch these dramas on our local tv channels.

Now as I grew to be more IT savy. (hahaha) I learn to download and stream drama serials online!

Recently these are the tv drama that I'm hooked on. Almost every night I will watch these drama...

Once Upon a Time

Story revolves a evil queen cursed all the fairy tale characters and bought them into our world. They are trap between both world, not knowing who they are and their loves ones and happiness being ripped out from them. Only 1 can weaken and remove the curse..

Seems not very interested. But it's quite a nice story though. I'm been hooked after watching 1-2 episodes.
Still I think it's not bad! Worth to watch.


Scandal (Season 2)

Story is based on a political thriller tv drama. Revolves ppl who works in the White House. Those dirty lies, schemes and what not. I've been hook since Season 1. Guess I'm addicted to this show is the confidence that Oliver Pope have in this tv serial.

Grimms (Season 2)

The second season of the NBC American supernatural drama series Grimm premiered on August 13, 2012. It is set to consist of 22 episodes. The series, created by David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter, follows a descendant of the Grimm line, Nick Burkhardt, as he deals with being a cop, and trying not to expose his secret as a Grimm.

Bones (Season 1 - 8)

Bones is an American crime comedy-drama television series that premiered on the Fox network in the United States on September 13, 2005. The show is based on forensic anthropology and forensic archaeology, with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) to the forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel).

At first when i first watch Bones, this show reminded me of HK's Forensic Heroes. Both story line include forensic anthropology and Cops involved for solving crimes. I super love this show! Currently I'm waiting for Season 8, Epi 5 to air! It has been a long wait since the 4th episode.

So basically this is how i spend my free time!! Since wedding  date is near means I can't go out shopping because we have to pay for our wedding dinner $$! So I will stay home, pack my room, do my craft (if I have the inspiration) or watch my tv dramas! (^_^v)
