Hongkong & Macau Trip 2012: Day 3 Shopping day!

I guess this is the day where I spent the most $$!!! Cause shopping at Hongkong is really good!!
This time round, we didn't target any branded goods.. basically just our normal shopping of clothing, shoes and bags!!

We had a late start as we were both super tired from our day trip at Macau! So we woke up ard 9am.. wash up and set off to this famous dim sum restaurant. A must try if you're going there! It's the cheapest Michelin star awarded restaurant.

 添好運點心專門店
From our station Prince Edward we took the mtr to Yau Ma Tei and walk to Tim Ho Wan

See the que!!

Honeydew Vitasoy!

Did some research before I leave SG to HK and realised that they have another new store opened at Hongkong Station. Haven't really been to any of the rest of the branches, though i heard that the one at Shum Shui Po has no que at all... but i've always been to the one at Yau Ma Tei so decided to head back there to have our dim sum brunch!

Why is it brunch???! Cause by the time we reach the restaurant, there's already a long que waiting. So we took our que number and waited almost 1hr plus to get our table!!! But the wait is worth it.

My advice if you don't want to wait so long. Reach there by 930am.. the shop opens at 10am by 930am they start giving out que number!

Some random snaps as we had to wait for almost 1 hr for our que number to be called!

This bakery sells very nice breads! All freshly baked! Nice!

Finally @ ard 11plus - 12pm, we got our table!

The food is really good and cheap!! Bill come out to ard  HK$122.. which is SG$20!!! For 2 pax! OMG!! Where to find it in SG??!!!

After a full and satisfying lunch, we set off to Fa Yuen Street to shop! To be honest, I love shopping @ HK. Everything is so much cheaper than SG! We wanted to go shopping at New Town Mall @ Mong Kok but didn't have the time and chance! Well.. let's leave that area to be explore the next trip when we are there!! Hahhaha

It's always close to evening by the time we finish our shopping at Fa Yuen Street... so we went back to hotel and rest our feet, recharged and off we went to Ladies Market...

This time I didn't take my camera out with me.. as my shoulders are very tired from carrying the sling bag...
Maybe the next round, I should shoot the night life around Mong Kok area with my 50mm lens! ^^

All my loots!! ^^

I'm a happy girl... wondering when can i go back to Hongkong again?!

Hongkong & Macau Trip 2012: Day 2 Macau

We decided to make full use of this day trip to Macau so we set off early in the morning..
Took the MTR to Shueng Wan station and purchase the ferry tickets at Shueng Tak Centre to purchase our ferry tickets... I wonder if it's me or it's the high tide??!! But the moment i board the ferry... I feel nausea.. I never had any sea sick or whatever motion sick.. but the boat will swaying like its on viking ride...

Anyway after 60mins ride, we reach Macau, the moment i set foot on solid ground I feel so much better!
I didn't really do alot of research for Macau.. Only afew tourist spot to hit... and some good food to try! But the weather that day so mad hot!!! N the best part, i didn't pack our umbrella for the Macau Day trip. Thought that it won't be so hot... Lesson learnt!

Just walk thru the underground tunnel to bring you opposite where all the hotel buses are. These are complimentary. So we took Grand Libosa's bus to bring us to the nearest Sanado's Square.

Heard many raves about this cafe.. esp the egg tart.. Unfortunately we went there on a Wednesday, and due to shortage of manpower, they are closed on a wed! Haiz...

Can tell that the weather is soooo hot??!!

This is quite a unique dish. Shrimp Roe noodle. Not bad but it's a little salty!

This fried Wanton is super huge!!

Even on a non school holiday... Macau is still pack with tourists!! The whole street is pack!!

The famous Ruins of St Paul Church

Helping a tourist to snap a picture!

So after shopping ard Senado's Square, we walk back to Grand Libosa to catch the shuttle bus back to the ferry and hop on to Venetian hotel.

The interior is the same like the one i visited in Vegas, except it's slightly smaller as compare to Vegas...

On our way to Venetian hotel.. we saw the huge statue of Guan Yim, the goddness of mercy. Wanted to go there and take some pictures.. but didn't know how to go. But luckily the shuttle bus bypass this area so we quickly snap afew pictures!

Finally we have reached!!!

And from far, i saw Victoria Secret! I guess VS in Asia country don't really sell their bras.. In the store, all i can found are some acessories, beauty products and panties. No bras!! Super sad! Cos I <3 their bras. Uber comfortable!!

It's time we head back to Hongkong!

A shuttle bus back to Macau ferry... was abit dread to take the ferry back because of morning's ride. But luckily we both were so tired that we snooze off and didn't really feel uncomfortable!

Stay tune on my next post!!
