San Francisco Trip (Day 3)

Followed our plan, we went to factory outlet shopping today!

Yess... it's Gilroy Premium Factory Outlet...
It's almost factory if only they have Kate Spade and Juciy Couture in....But anyways.. Gilroy has 2 compounds. It's like the East and West wing of a building.. I told Mr S that after we shopped at the 1st compound and let's walk over... He gave me that silly look saying that no one is states will walk over.. apparently everyone will drive over.. hahaNow we know why the ppl is states are soo big size..Anyway, pictures speaks louder than words...
- Breakfast at Wendy's... ( I didn't get a chance to dine in Wendy's back hm cos it's hit by the freak flood in orchard rd...)
Oh.. I like the salad! It's nice!!
Aeropostale~ I brought 2 tops and 1 flip flop there.. My first loots of the day!My 2nd visit to COACH Factory Outlet........
I really went crazy when i'm there... And than and there, I wish I'm a millionaire's daughter so i can buy everything without any worries of busting my budget.Trying on my coach shoes... which i've only wear it TWICE!! I'm better going to make this shoes cost effective!Ok.. I'm out of Coach Store.. a happy girl! And Mr S said that we should try Gilroy's Garlic Fries... Hmm, it isn't anything special, just normal fries and chopped garlics... But quite an interesting taste...Haha

I ended the day with dinner together with Mr S's friends....

And my dessert for the night...

SF trip (Day 2)

Rise and early.. although the time difference in SG, i still manage it quite ok.
Didn't have any jet lag.

Today is my 2nd day here at SF.. Alot of things to be done and seen!
We're going to Alamo Sq to view the Painted Ladies, have Cheesecake Factory for lunch, some shopping ard Macy's and of cos the most anticipated, Alcatraz tour!

We prebook a night tour for the Alcatraz trip.. It's really worth it. As there are certain activities conducted only during the night.

It's really worth the trip.

A little history on alcatraz... (Grab from wikipedia)

Alcatraz Island is an island located in the San Francisco Bay, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) offshore from San Francisco, California.[1] Often referred to as The Rock, the small island early-on served as a lighthouse, a military fortification, a military prison, and a Federal Bureau of Prisons federal prison until 1963.[2] Later, in 1972, Alcatraz became a national recreation area and received landmarking designations in 1976 and 1986.

Today, the island is a historic site operated by the National Park Service as part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and is open to tours. Visitors can reach the island by ferry ride from Pier 33, near Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. In 2008 the nation's first hybrid propulsion ferry started serving the island.[3] Alcatraz has been featured in many movies, TV shows, cartoons, books, comics, and games.

And a late night short trip to Pier 39... Realised that the shops in San Francisco doesn't open till late at night unlike those shops in Hongkong where there are still many shops opened till as late as 12am.

Thus this little night trip to Pier 39, wasn't a fruitful one.. Only managed to buy some tee shirts from Hard Rock Cafe.

I love shopping at Macy's! There are so much to see.. and the coach counter is there as well. Branded Names from States are selling sooo much cheaper (after the conversion of the exchange rate). I got my Marc Jacob bag there too! For half of the price selling in SG's Marc Jabcob store.

Heheheh

Sometimes i wonder how is it like to live in SF....

The wind is chilling even if the sun is sunny. Not a drop of sweat...
Do wonders to my face cos it's isn't as oily as it is back home..

Hmmm....

San Francisco Trip (Day 1)

Like my previous post..my most anticipated holiday started on 27th June 2010.
Due to the time difference in SG & USA...
I depart 27th Jun, 8am from SG, transit in HK and arrive in San Francisco on 27th June, 12.45pm
Hahahahaha.. Technically i just took 5 hours flight to reach SF...

Anyway, start of my day 1... Mr Li brought me Mexican food from Mountain View's farmers market... And it's served chilled.. Such food isn't found in SG,
From airport, we went back straight to Mr Li's house... small little apartment. Smelly and alittle messy, but what can you expect from 3 guys who lives in the house..
Surprisingly, i didn't feel jet lag cos it was morning in USA but night time back in SG.. The reasons is 1) Mr Li brought me straight to Great Mall to shop. 2) I keep telling my body and mind and adjust to USA timing...
Hehehehehe...

My 1st day at SF, is truly an rewarding day cos i brought most of my stuffs within first day!!
And for the 1st time Mr Li cooked dinner for me!!!
wahahaha
