Settled 1 item off the wedding checklist

Yeah!! At least 1 item off the many many never ending list of wedding check list!

It's PRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY!!

As I want all my bridal stuffs to be a-la cart so i went out to source for a really good and affordable photographer for pre wedding. Initially wanted to go to Hongkong for pre wed photos but after a detailed calculation, cost almost come up to 5K which we both think that it's way to expensive!  And can't be sure that the pre wed style will be what I like.

I've always like vintage style photography.. so went I come across "Oh, dear! photography" I'm elated! So I went to drop an email to check out their price. Was surprised to received their quotation cos it's really affordable and their style is what I like!!

 So after many emails later, we have book a slot and also made the deposit payment... 

Which means..... we have CONFIRMED our photographer!!! Yeah!

Melody, the owner of this company is sooooo popular that she's fully booked all the way till Jul'12... So I managed to book a session with on the 1st Sept! Giving me 6 mths time to search for a wedding dress, go on diet, props and make up artist!

Types of makeup for pre wed photoshoot...

As I'm not sticking to those bridal package for pre wed photoshoot.. in another words, I'm a ala carte bride.

So I've already settled my pre wed photographer... so now it's time to search for the perfect dress and makeup + hair stylish artist...

I doubt I will have the time to head to bobbie browns for a makeup session at the counter as both my bf and I would prefer to have our photograph session taken in the morning.. so I have to hire a makeup artist or get helps from friends...

Treasure our moments together

Ever since both my bf and I have decided that we are "The One" for each other.. we have been very busy working.

For me, like other post before I've been taking as much OTs I can at work. 

And for bf, he's teaching almost 7 days a week. Teaching 2 different time slot. morning @ public schools and afternoon @ private institutions. Recently he's discussing with me about joining MOE, so that he can fixed timing and rest days. Which I totally agree and would very much preferred this plan of his. So we can keeping our fingers cross that he's able to get the job!

Having said that, this means that our dating is very precious. Cos we both had hardly any time for each other.

I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder! Each week, I'm always looking forward to Friday or Sat to meet him as these are the only days where we will have sleepovers and each other house. (^_^)

As for our wedding plans.... not much have of the items that we planned are concrete. 

Like previously, we wanted to have our prewed photos taken in HK.. factoring in the expenses, accom and air tixs.Isn't very worth it... As it's not really what i wanted. Cos I would much prefer a casual engagement shots and it will be good if i can be photographed with my wedding grown.

So we decided to stick to home ground. And we have decided on 1 photographer, which i shall share more on my next post! Haven't paid the deposit yet so I don't want to jinx it!

How to loose flabby arms???!!!

With my wedding plans in about 1.5 years.. flabby arms and tummy are my biggest challenge!!

I tried running almost every other alternate weekend as sometimes I have to work OT on weekends. But still I don't really see much result! And ever since I transfer to work from frontline to back office. My weight increased alot. Partly because of the long hours siting in front of the computer and when I'm back at home, I continue to stare at my lappy for another 4-5 hours.. surfing net or watching movies.

No exercise involved in my daily life is going to help me loose my flabby arms. Going to gym is going to cost me a bomb which is something that I'm trying to cut down.

So I search of a easy and cost effective way.



I tried the chair style thingy.. Can't really see anything yet as I just start out. So maybe a mth later.. might have result. Let's see if Im that hardworking!!

All work and no play....

Having been working almost 6 days a week.. including my Sunday! Trying to squeeze in as many overtime i can handle to earn that extra more!!

Well, for my upcoming Hongkong Trip and also Wedding and Flat piggy bank!

Not too sure if i ever mention about my upcoming Hk trip with my gal friend, S this coming May'12.
As usual, in HK there will be lots of eating and shopping! This time round, no visiting for touristy attractions but we might throw in a day trip to Macau!

So far I haven been busying compiling documents that is needed  for my HDB application. And now that all documents are sent, all i can do is to wait for the approval loan letter and also my 2 appt with HDB to make payment for the first down payment!

Now it's time for me to plan my HK trip.. This trip is gonna be a resourceful one as I intend to visit My Dream Wedding's HQ - Mona Lisa Bridal & France Bridal to check out the pre wedding photography @ HK. Im hoping that it's going to be lot much cheaper than what MDW SG quote me!! And also a wedding shopping mall  - Golden Plazza to shop for my wedding stuffs!!

Can't wait to start planning my wedding and also for my future home tgt with bf!

Busy with life & work...

Am getting busier with my life and work.... Not such time for me to scrap or snaps snapshots of my life.
Well.. life is always like that.. Now that we have to prepare for our flat and wedding.. All these big project involves $$$!! So gotta to work really work!

Anyway... recently a colleauge of mine who is preparing her wedding this end April share some tips of preparing wedding and one day she told me that she's having headache on her wedding dinner first march in song.. Or rather wedding song lists to be played during the reception or dinner...

So I thought why don't I gather my play list... and slowly add or delete??!!
hmm.... soo where are my choice...

Feb 12 is gone... here comes March'12

February has just come and go in a blink of an eye...

So I was thinking what had I done in the month of Feb?

• Celebrated our first year anniversary on Valentine's Day with my bf..
• Received our que number for our future home @ Sengkang Fernvale Lea.. (Think number 90 is our lucky number)
• When to do a site visit... exploring the neighborhood
• Plucked the courage to try out Yoga (brought the groupon deal!)
• Booked my driving practical test date
• Started to attend lots of meetings at work, cause my boss wants me to be expose to other work scopes. hoping that I will have a break thought in work
• Started to pick up as many OTs that I can work in order to have more $$ for my flat/wedding!

Feb'12 has been kind to me.... I'm grateful and thankful for many things that happen in my life.

In March'12, many challenges lie ahead but I'm sure with my bf, family and friends' support, I can get thru it!

And today, we have already booked our choice unit!!! I'm really looking forward to our future home! Now praying hard that our loan can be approved!

Next item on our list...

1) Open a joint account

2) Search for bridal shop and confirm pre wedding photography
