My online shopping craze....

Yup.. start again!!! I've been shopping online lot recently... Especially when it comes to cosmetic, skin care, clothing and bags.. Occasionally I will purchase stuffs on scrap booking too! But I've cut down alot on that as I really have way too much stuffs for scrapbookings. Funny that I didn't have such thought and discipline when it comes to CLOTH, BAGS and SHOES!

So yesterday while watching my new favourite blogger, From Head to Toe. I scroll to read her older post and come across this post on Fall Drugstore makeup. Basically all her make up products are purchased from Drugstore.com and so I went to check out... End up I purchase 1 eco friendly 6 piece make up brush, DUO eye lash adhesive, some eye makeups. All in all I paid about SG$40 for all 5 items!! Hahaha.. Super savings!!!

Can't wait for my items to arrive in SG.. Let's wait for another week for my items to reach SG!

I'm poorer by $100 from all the purchases above. Now waiting for items to arrive and stop spending $$!!

Innocents Kids..

I love to be surrounded by young kids.. Cos they are absolutely adorable and innocent!!!
Somehow playing with them makes me feel like I'm 1 big overage kid all over again! Last Tuesday, my bff at work came over to visit me during CNY. Which is quite an annual thing cos we get to gossip and chat all we want without much interruption.

Last Year, this cutie pie came to my place. Didn't really know how to walk.. Just crawling and sliding all over my living room and leaving his drool trail along with him.. This year. cutie pie already know how to walk and it soo curious and fascinated by every thing that i have in my house.

Hahha.. such a cutie! Tomolo I will be going to one of my colleagues' place and my favorite baby, Happy Brayden will be there too! Going to take lots of photos and play with him!! It's a pity that bf can't join me because he has to teach.. Poor him, have been exhausted from teaching these days just to earn extra more to get prepared for house and wedding!

So I'm praying really hard that this year, my boss can raise my pay a little bit!!!
And hope to clear off my debts soon!

Dragon Year 2012

2 days ago, My family and I usher in the dragon year. With new year, there's new hope and new begining.

And as usual, we had our reunion dinner... Watched movie on the first day of CNY but this time it's together with my fiance.. It's his first time hanging out together with my family. Guess he's a little stressed out but it the end all went end. We even sing K. And my mother baked Kuei Lapis for my fiance too.. well.. I helped abit too.
It's tough baking lapis cake cos we have to baked it layer by layer. And got to remember after every few layers to add in the prunes. ^_^

With all the new year goodies around, seriously it's hard not to put on weight. But I am very determine to loose weight esp after CNY. So my work out routine and diet will kick off after this CNY. Gotta get ready for my pre wedding photos!!

Super heart this bling bling shoe from pazzion!!!! Love their shoes. Comfortable though the prices are abit steep.. 

The finish product of the lapis cake!!! Though it's slightly burn. But my fiance and his family couldn't stop raving about it! \(^_^)/

Pretty nails~

Every Chinese New Year... every gal will make it a point to do their nails. So i did mine!
As usual, with the invention of gel nails.. Every Chinese New Year, I've been painting my nails with gels. No chip, crack and it has that shine that last for at least 21 days!!!!!

Am lucky to have a gal friend who is a manicurist! She's the one I go to for my every nails pampering time!

Shopping is a girls' best friend!

Every Chinese New Year gives me a chance to purchase clothing, shoes, handbag, make up and etc!!
This gives me the best excuse to shop online! Gmarket,blogshops, Far East Plaza & Pazzion are the must search/go places!

So this year, all my CNY outfit are in blue!!! Wonder if i have developed a special fondness for blue?!

Sleveless top purchase from a store in Far East Plaza! Cheap deal @ $15.
Down side.. No trying.

 Bought this blue top from 1 store in Far East Plaza for $15!! Cheap!! But no trying is allow. Luckily I can fit this top! Cos previously i bought afew tops from this store that i couldn't fit in due to no trying. Haiz!

 Chance upon this dress while i was just browsing thru.. Actually like the one base with black dots but find it kinda of transparent so bought this navy blue colour. Safe colour!!

Another blue dress that I purchase from a online blog shop by the name of "Pieces of summer". Think this dress cost me $26! Cheap too!

I've another 2 more tops that i purchased from Gmarket.... cost of the 2 tops = $21 including shipping!!!

Hahahaha!! I'm such a happy girl!

Now my hands are itching to purchase Nyx cosmetic - the Nude on Nude eye shadow palette. Not sure if the goods will arrive in time. 

And how can my CNY not celebrated with bling bling accessories?!!

Scrappy Sunday..

Last Sunday, I was suppose to do my CNY spring cleaning for my room. Almost everything in my room is needed and i can't throw away

There are so many things in my room yet i didn't notice "HOW MUCH' i have till i start to do my spring cleaning.

1. Books - Yes, I still have paperback novels. Mostly romance novel. Don't really bear to throw them away as I at times would still bring them out to read though recently it's not too often all thanks to ebooks! Kinda of  appreciate ebooks. Why? Cos they are more environmental friendly, much cheaper than actual books in fact some are free, save alot of space. I have 2 shelving allocated just for my books.

2. Clothings / bags. - I guess the amount of clothings and bags that i own is still consider acceptable. Cos which lady out there don't have tons of clothings, bags and shoes! It's our ladies entitlement to own all these! Hahahah!

3. Scrapbooking stuffs! I have 1 full cupboard from Ikea that's dedicated to my scrappy stuffs. And to be honest, I still think that it's not enough! But recently I've been trying to cut down alot. Didn't really purchase more papers or embellishment. I hoping to exhaust what i have before i start to purchase any more.
So these are what I've done over the weekends.

Hoping to scrap more layout or maybe some altered art again this weekend or next.

Oh... just another 2 more weeks and it's CNY! This year there isn't really any festive mood cos Christmas / New Year and Chinese New Year is too close to each other.

Anyway I've already done my cny shopping.. all thanks to Gmarket!!

What am I feeling

In this month, Jan...

I feel thankful & bliss...

Thankful for all the lessons and memories that I have in Year 2011 makes me a stronger, smarter, wiser person in year 2012.

Blissful is all because of LOVE.

I've my family love.... thought my mother always grumble, my youngest brother don't talk to anyone of us in the family. Still I love them the same.

Friends who are there... to listen to my grumbles, complains, thoughts and many other things!

Last but not least... A guy who loves me just the way I am. It's really funny that he don't think I'm pretty or hot... He finds me soo cute that he refers me to Carebear! ^_^

In another 2 weeks, it's going to CNY! Looking forward to have my fiance in my family for CNY celebrations and as his too.

Wedding Bells are ringing

Hahaha.. Not mine though... it's my colleauges and friend that are getting married in the month of Dec 2011 and Jan 2012.

Really happy to see my colleauge and my best gal friend settle down and happily married to the one they love most. Wishing them a blissful marriage.

All 3 weddings that I went I didn't take my photos cos I didn't bring any camera except my phone. So not much photos to show... Just 1 of the outfit that i wore on that day and my makeup.
Seeing my friends getting married, makes me want to get marry soon! But I know that I can't give such huge pressure to my other half. So we agreed to take it slow.

Our main priority is to ballot for a HDB flat and maybe do our prewedding photographs or secure a venue.
Hmm.. many things to plan and decide. So we shall see how it goes.

Seems like recently I've put on weight!!! So my 2012 resolution.. is to SLIM down!!!

But with so many temptation around me.. hopefully I can do it!!! For the sake of being a beautiful bride!

Testing... Trying..

Well, many ppl will know that having a hobby like photography is a real expensive hobby.
Just a mid level DSLR body alone, can cost you $1K.. This hasn't add up to lens, dry cabby, tripod and other accessories. All in all, the cost can easily come up to at least 2K plus or even higher. Depending on what type of lens you're going to purchase.

I'm happy with my Eos 1000D with my kit lens + 50mm f1.8 prime and a zoom lens 55-250mm which I'm selling it away as I seldom use such long zoom lens.

So which so many lens out there, how to do know which is the one that's your staple lens? About an year ago, I chance upon this camera rental van while i was out having lunch. Spark my interest. Remember the company name and google it.

Apparently this company rents photography equipments. All types of camera body, lenses and accessories.
At that time, I wasn't holding to any DSLR and wanted a feel of how it is to shoot.. So i rented a 450D + 17-50mm lens to Sentosa with my gal friend. I had fun shooting, with many trial and error... and finally i purchased my own DSLR before my USA trip last year.

Still occasionally, I would rent lens from this company to try out. And during New Year they were having promotion. 50% off. So i took the chance to rent 1 lens which I've been dying to try out. Canon 24-70mm lens. This is a heavy weight lens. Not quite suitable for my camera body. Hmm... I'm very happy with the photos that i took but i won't purchase this lens unless I'm holding a 5DM2. If not, forget it. Hahah

I have always like f2.8 lens... cos it's a much faster lens than my kit lens. Really hoping to purchase the Tamron 17-50mm lens. Maybe this June?

I hope in this year 2012, I can improve my photography skills. I totally enjoy the process of shooting and capture precious memories.
