My little blessing at Week 18

Currently I'm at week 18. Many people said that this week is an exciting week cause I get to feel my baby's movement.

Actually at week 17, I felt my baby's movement but it's not as strong as it is at week 18. Another 2 more weeks and I will reach my halfway point of pregnancy. Can't wait for week 20 to arrive soon as we will get to know baby's gender!

Am I too fat or is my baby growing well??

Week: Week 18 & 2 days

Size: Baby is the size of bell pepper

Craving: Recently I've been craving for sweet juices, especially Power berries! I still crave for mee siam and yoghurt.

Illness: Bad headaches still stick with me... I'm not sure if it's because the weather is too warm or I'm a baby baking oven hence the headaches?

Check with my gynae on this and somehow it's seems that there is no cure nor anyway he can help me to ease my aches. Only to advise me to have proper rest and drink lots of water. Hmmm.....

Clothing: I can't fit into my regular Polo tee!! Now I can only dress myself in those loose tee shirt, dresses and no more tight jeans. At week 13, I can't button my jeans. Now I can't even zip all the way up... Time to get those maternity jeans or change to leggings.

Thought we are unsure if I'm carrying a boy or a girl.. we have more or less decided on their names...

I would much prefer baby's girl name to be Michaela but some how hubby like Danielle. Simple reason because its the female version of Daniel. -__-"

My lazy hubby refuse to budge and Danielle has grown on me... so i agreed.

Gender reveal on my next scan! ^_~

See ya!

Difficult people we encounter at work

Finally after months, life at office is back to normal. I would say its a good riddance especially when you have to work with someone who isn't a team player. A stalker and evil person yet she thinks the whole dept is against her.

Many a times, I feel like just telling her straight to her face that what is the problem here?? My boss once suggest that we have an open meeting and talk about our communication issue. I am for this idea. Because I'm here to work and to me its important that colleagues work together as a team and communicate.

I personally agree that I may not be the most meticulous person when it comes to work. I make mistakes, I overlooked certain things and I might misunderstood / miscommunication. I may arrive late at work. But I always trust and respect my fellow colleagues.

One thing that I never never ever do is to stalk my colleagues nor do i not invade their privacy. Even if its means desktop login id & password is right in front of you, it's meant for work convenience , not for people to snoop and check online messages that I can.

Seriously if were to rant about this ex colleague of mine... the post will be a damn lengthly one. But ultimately, invasion of privacy is wrong even though under Singapore Law there is no per se action. Still you DO NOT invade ppl's privacy.

After all, what benefit do you get?

Okay.. enough of my complain.

I'm just glad that she is out of my company. I seriously wish her all the best and i pray hard for her new colleagues to come. Hopefully they don't get stalk by her. ^_~

My poison & weekness

My recent additional to my over growing stash of Washi Tapes!!!

Bought these goodies at the Public Garden fair over last weekend at Tripleone Sommerset.

This is my 2nd time visiting Public Garden, its a flea market that sells lots of vintage and interesting stuffs. Saw a store or two that sells baby's stuffs, too bad that day I didn't have enough cash with me! If not i would have purchase!!

Maybe I should wait for the next Public Garden fair! ^_^

My posion
I've been contemplating for the longest time whether if I should upgrade my DSLR or purchase a new prime lens??!

Wanted to purchase Canon 28mm f1.8 lens but the SA recommended me this. Did abit of my research and find that this is quite worth it. So i purchased it!

Can't upgrade my camera after I purchase this lens! Hopefully before my baby is out, I can save enough $$$ for an upgrade of my camera! Hehehe

Finally found this cheese spread at NTUC Fairprice Finest!
Haven't bring the lens out for any shoot yet but I did a test shoot of this! And I like what I see!

I can see that this lens will be mount on my camera for a very long time!
Hopefully I can do a test shoot with my new lens soon!

Have a great week!

Happy Birthday to the Man I love!

Over the last weekend, I celebrated my hubby's 28th birthday.

Dun expect lots of pictures cause he is not the kind that really like to celebrate his birthday cause to him it's just another day..

Not sure if I've mention earlier... (blame it on my goldfish memory due to pregnancy), that I've purchase an very early birthday gift for my hubby..

A replacement of his old mac book..
Bought it early in July and hubby didn't use it till recently!

Influence by me, Mr Lee likes Brown too!
So on last Saturday, I bought this little gift for my hubby instead. Supposed to be place together with his keys, he hang Brown in his car..

My craving for last Sat dinner

Anyway, not much pictures as we had dinner at Thai Express after his full day of teaching. He don't like cake so I didn't purchase any and I didn't take his photo cause he looks tired after teaching. =P

To my hubby: Growing old with you is one of my favourite things that I would love to do with you. Happy Birthday!!

Kinda of looking forward to our birthday next year. Cos we will have our little one celebrating with us. ^_^

Mini Moon to Bali - Day 2

We started day 2 on a very leisure pace...

Woke up to have breakfast... the spread isn't too bad. American style breakfast! Service at the villa is good, you can request for any types of egg at the egg stations or even waffles & pancakes!

After our breakfast, we decided to explore Bali or rather somewhere not too far from our villa.

Decided to walk around, and I saw cows on the streets!!! Damn country pumkin!! Hahahhaha
This happens when we live in the city! Cause we will never see cows roaming the fields so freely. We only see cows in Zoo!!

Weather was super super warm that day! So we decided to stop walking and hop into a cab to the nearest beach.

I can simply stare at the seas waves from ages!! So peaceful and windy. We didn't bring our swimming suits out so we can't suntan so we just walk around the beach and head to this luxury hotel, Legian Bali Hotel for a drink and to take shelter from the sun!

Rest our feets and chill at the hotel's bar while enjoying the sea view....

Time to head from some shopping time at Seminyak Square. Didn't take much photos at this place cos it's just all small stores out the mall that sells all the nick nacks... I managed to purchase a sundress and we bought snacks and cold drinks from their local stores and head back to hotel to chill at our indoor pool...

Typing this post, makes me miss Bali all over again..

Wonder if I am able to visit Bali again before I deliver??!! Stay tune for my Day 2 - Part 2

Have a great lazy Sunday!

14 September 2013

Hey there! A little update on myself!

It's rather rare for me these to have the energy to sit down and start to type out my post.. cause ever since I got preggy, my energy level is just super low. All I want to do is eat and sleep especially when its on a weekend.

So here is a little update on my baby bump

Week: 16th & 4 days

Baby Size: Of an avocado

Length: About 11cm from head to heel

Weight: Last I checked, I gain about 1.5kg.

Craving: Sour & Sweets stuffs (Eg, Tom Yam, Mee Siam, Yoghurt, Cranberry Juice and Kiwi)

Sickness: As I entered my 2nd trimester, I said "goodbye" to my nausea feeling which I constantly have when I was in my 1st trimester. However, I seems to have this nagging headache that is constantly bugging me. The pain is still bearable which if i concentrate on other stuffs, I will forget about the ache.

Guess it's time for me to go for neck and shoulder massage!

Prenatal Preparation: I've been contemplating to sign up for prenatal yoga... but I kinda of lazy. Cause the center is at Tanglin Mall and I worked at Bencoolen Street... Not exactly the easiest way to go there. So I'm still considering thought I can start to join anytime now.

I tried to let baby listen to more music (Eg, Jazz, Classical, New Age and Bosa Nova) and I picked up reading again. So before bedtime, I will read my novels and listen to music for baby's simulation. And on alternate days, I catch up on my TV drama. =)

My current favourite.
Recently I'm abit lazy and lag on my scrapbooking pages.. which I will try to catch up as soon as I have that little burst of energy again!

Did I mention my baby's gender yet? Hehehe...  Keep it a little secret first cause I am scheduled for my 20 weeks screening in a month's time. Which then we will have a confirmation of our baby's gender...

So excitied and I can't wait to see baby via the ultrasound again!

Have a great weekend!

02 September 2013

Time to wake up! Its September!

Just an blink of an eye and it's September already!! Just another 4 more months to go before year 2013 ends!

So lets recap my happenings in life for the month of Aug 2013

  1. Spent my national day long weekend at home, sleeping! Cause that all I do whenever I'm at home.
  2. Spent the rest of my free time, occasionally reading books, playing games and catch my tv drama serials
  3. Mr Lee and I bought our first 2nd hand car... can't afford to purchase 1st hand car cause its way tooooooo expensive.
  4. Went for my 1st trimester screening at Rad link, saw baby's growth and my little one is very active!!
  5. With my growing belly, I've passed by first trimester and I'm now into my 2nd trimester (Week 15)
  6. Sent one of my sis in law to Australia during national day. She has finally obtain PR status there.
  7. My 2nd elder sis in law gave birth to a healthy baby boy! I've a Caucasian nephew in law! Hahaha
  8. Sent my mother in law to airport as she is going to Auz to take care of my sis in law.
  9. Sent off my youngest sis in law to Canada as she is going there for studies.

Too fat cat was all moody when my mother in law and sisters in law aren't around at home..

As mention.. I've hit my week 15 and I can't wait for my next gynae appointment next week (Week 16) cause if we are really lucky.. we might be able to tell the gender of our little boy. Rumors has it that I'm carrying a boy.. Let's see if we can tell!

Stay tune to my next post!

Go away Monday Blues!!
