Beauty: A vain me

Well ever since my colleague introduced me to false eyelashes, I've been sticking it for as long as i know.
Previously my knowledge of really curly dolly eyelashes is to permed it! I remember when i permed my eyelash, it look really weird as it curls up to like 90 degrees... but after a day, the curl will be very nice and natural. Provided your eyelashes isn't too short.

And since then I've found false eyelashes, I've no complain. My features instantly look different. Especially my eyes look bigger.

Somehow recently, kinda of sick of sticking my false eyelash each time i go out. And especially if im planning to go on a photography outing, i can't stick my falsie and it's somehow will fall out. Wonder if it's my glue to blame. Anyway, I've been wanting to try EYELASH EXTENSION.

Wanted to try a shop in Far East - Milly's. Read a number of good and bad reviews. But somehow their price seems kinda of high. Until today, my colleague recommended me this shop where she did her hair extension and saw other girls going there for eyelash extension.

Like all the other girls, who do their homework before deciding which shop to go. I did mine too. And decided to go to Angel Xin @ City Plaza.
Reviews are good from blogs and forums. Prices are reasonable. Charging @ $30, $50 and $60. Touch up of lens are @ $10.

So here are my newly extension lashes.

this extension cost me $50.
Am actually quite happy with my lashes. And since it's my first time, the lady who did my lashes say that she didn't give me too drama ones. Once i'm use to it, than can try more dolly lashes....

Beauty: My restocks!!

I've been a huge fan of Benefit since they launch their products in Singapore.

Knowing that Benefit originate from San Francisco... immediately "Benefit" appeared in my shopping list when i was at USA last year June. Wonder why? Cos the price difference is so great! Its' much cheaper to purchase Benefit stuffs from the USA website!

Posie Tint selling at Robinson is @ $65. Benefit website is selling at US$28. Even after the currency convert, it cost only $35!!!!! See so much difference!

Tsk Tsk!!! A lady who loves shopping must also know where to get all the good deals. And since then, I've been purchasing Benefit stuffs online.. Save alot of $$~!!!

And here are my loots!

As you can see, recently bought Coverderm. There have a store at Scape park. Made a check online and reaslise that this brand is really good for covering spots on legs! But somehow the color that i purchase doesn't seem to blend very well... When i asked the lady, she just say that this color should suit me.
Anyway I'm thinking to go back and check with her again!

Next loot:

Bought these 2 Victoria Secret mist which i thought was already out production...
My favourite: Sweet Temptation and Enchanted Apple!

Food for thoughts: Dessert Bowl @ Serangoon Gardens

This dessert place is introduce by my colleague who happens to have the same hobby with me; Hongkong's TVB Drama and Scrap booking and food.

All my whole life I've been living in Singapore but I didn't have much chance to step foot in Serangoon this area. Because of where i stay.... there isn't any buses or mrt that could lead me straight to Chomp Chomp or Serangoon garden market place. Thus i never been there to eat...

By luck today, my bf and his friend meet up for dinner and i tag along with my suggestion, we went to Serangoon 's Chomp Chomp for dinner! But it's super crowded that we don't even have a place to sit. Almost everyone is waiting for a place. And the ventilation is really bad! Smoky everywhere. But who really cares when it comes to good food. So we move to a coffeshop nearby and settle our dinner!

But my main suppose beside Chomp Chomp was Dessert Bowl..

Beauty: 6 ways of Blusher Application

All the while when it comes to blusher application, I only know 1 way.... which is 1) Smile 2) Brush across your cheek apples and it a Nike tick style.

I bought this book.. Kevin's Perfect Beauty Guide quite awhile ago. Didn't really read it unless recently.
And i thought might as well share here. This guide book is really good as it comes with complete step by step guide to make up. Great for those like me who is make up idiot! And the instruction comes in English!!!

Kevin's Perfect Beauty Guide

Hmm.. some how my pictures quality aren't that good!
Anyway here are the 6 ways

1) Apple of cheek: Start from bottom of cheek muscles, along the smile area.
2)Nike "Swoosh": A big tick from lower cheek toward side hairline
3)Worm: Draw a tick from head to tail, mostly use around hairline for shading
4)Circle: Lower cheeks as center, brush in circular motion
5)Horizontal Oval: Lower cheeks as focal point, brush in oval from cheek area slightly away tip of nose towards the back
6) Slanted Oval: From corner of tip towards cheek area under the bow, helps to shape the face smaller.

Food for thoughts: Strictly Pancakes

This pancake place has been raved by many. And I get to know this place thru a food blogger's blog. IronladyChef.

Usually when I'm clueless to where to explore good food, i will turn to this blog for help. With great photos and great review!! Kinda like to read this food blogger's blog. Interesting.

And after a weekend of failed visit... this time round, I visited on a Thursday evening. Made a reservation but still I was asked to wait outside for like 10 mins before they show me to my table. Im surprised that even on a Thursday evening, this little place is still packed with people!

Like the picture that they show on their table. Love Take Times. They took at least 15 - 20mins to serve our pancakes.

I'm a pancake eater.. I love to eat pancakes but my bf thinks that it's isnt that good and price is will over ex.
We ordered Garlic Butter Prawn ($14) and Strawberries and Co ($10). Wanted to order 2 milkshakes but they went out of stock for their milkshakes. So sad!

I would say that beside the long waiting time, i think i would still go back to Strictly Pancakes again. Perhaps this time with my girlfriends to gossip and chat...
