In the mood for scrapbooking!

It's been a while since I last sign up for any scrapbook / crafting classes.

So while I was browsing thru Papermarket website and saw this beginners class with a 12" photo frame  So I thought why not? Since it's at $49 and it comes with a 12x12" photo frame which is great for me to scrap on our wedding photos.  Make a call and place my name for the class.

Was beyond my surprised that I'm the only student in the class.. so it's kind like a private class. Which I'm so happy to attend cos I get to ask the instructor all the techniques that I've seen on the website but couldn't really get it done and this instructor is really good cos she really share all the tricks and techniques with me!

So here is what I have done!

And right now my hands are itching to do this project!!

I always browse thru 2 peas in a bucket's website especially  their free classes. Learn quite a few techniques and ideas from these classes.

And to start this project.. here are some tips to get in done..

1. Start with a blank slate
2. Get messy with mists
3. Forget about paper trimmer
4. Use some washi tape.

Since I'm on leave today... might as well get my hands to scrap!

Bedroom Inspirations

It's also time for us to revamp Mr Lee's room.

Currently his room is fit for a bachelor to stay but it's not fit for a newlywed to stay in. Firstly bed isn't big enough and the Wardrobe isn't big enough to fit both of our clothing.

So it's time to search for inspirations..

I've also fancy a black / grey / white with a hint of pop colours to decorate room.. I've yet to discuss with Mr Lee what kind of colours he will like. But i think he will choose black and white.

Today my mother is having furniture fair at Singapore Expo. So i went there to try out the mattress and managed to choose the mattress and bed frame for Mr Lee's room..

The mattress that we will be sleeping for at least 3 years till our  SK abode is ready.

Beside settled our bed, we also have choosen ur table & chair, waiting for a time when we are both free to go to Ikea to purchase it!

Now left with wardrobe... Haiz, going to settle the room one thing at a time! If we purchase everything together is it's going to make us broke!! T_T

Save more money!! No more shopping for me!

Creativity Juice!

Recently I'm really lacking on creativity juice... cause I've been working OTs for most of the Sundays in Feb also March too! No choice, got to work harder now that I'm preparing for wedding and house.

My hands were itching for a scrapping time but my mind seems to have a mental block.. Can't really visualize how I want my layout to be.. Luckily for sketches!!

Using this sketch from Sketchy Thursday.... I recreated my layout!

I simply *heart* this new series of MME pappers!!!

1 more week to my HDB appt.. Was quite disappointed that 1 of my choiced unit got booked by others.. Got to reconsider other units.. Haiz.
Pray hard that by the time we can get our choice unit!!
