Somewhere Only We Know

Lyrics

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

I came across a fallen tree
I felt the branches of it looking at me
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?

Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?

[break]

Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

So if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
So why don't we go

This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?

Don't you feel that as we grow older, things are so routine. You just need a breath of fresh air and a place where we can go that only we know....

Hmmm....

What's on my eyes?

Im really a lazy girl at times...
When it comes to makeup, i usually like the all in one product, like primers, cheek/lip stain and my all time favorite, false eyelashes!

I used to purchase my eyelashes at far east plaza but recently i find that the eyelashes quality that they import aren't really that good. And i hate those plasticly feel of eyelash. Don't look natural at all!
And while shopping around Tampines Mall, i found a push cart around Texas Chicken level that sells eyelashes!
Prices are very reasonable. A single pair of eyelashes are priced at $4.40 and a box of 10 pairs of eyelashes at $21.90..

Brought a few and im instantly became their member! Hahah
So here's my loot!

My favorite, Natural, criss cross style

For bottom lashes

Natural Straight Lashes

This is a smashing idea!

I can't remember how i come across to this video.

But it's really a smashing idea to store all your journaling, quotes, notes, thoughts and even doodle!
Really cool! Haha
Maybe I should try one too!!

Wonder will my local scrapbook stores bring this item in?
Hmmm

Photography : Light trails..

I've been wanting to try long exposure shots for the longest time. Though i've been expose to this before but never ever had to chance to really try and play with the setting and all (because there's the one irritating person who would do all the settings and i can only stand next to this person and watch).

But somehow i'm glad that i managed to take a couple of shots. Not like the ones that i imagine but i believe with more practise, i will get better!

And here's my take on long exposure...

Somehow i can't quite grasp the correct exposure.. Some of my shots seems alright and some seems over expose.

Well... im going to find time to practice again!

What am i watching?

Recently I watched a few movies...something which i haven done in a longest time.

A MOVIE MARATHON!

And here are some of the interesting and not so interesting movies that i watched:

1) Room mates

"The Roommate" is a psychological thriller about a deranged college freshman, Rebecca (Meester), who becomes dangerously obsessed with her new roommate, Sara (Kelly)....

2)  Just Go with It.

In Just Go With It, a plastic surgeon, romancing a much younger schoolteacher, enlists his loyal assistant to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, the assistant's kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives

3) Rite

An American seminary student travels to Italy to take an exorcism course.
(This movie is really good! Kept me glue to my seat and screen!)

4) The Other Woman

Natalie Portman (BLACK SWAN, STAR WARS) lights up the screen in this frank, funny, and heart-wrenching adaptation of bestselling author Ayelet Waldman's novel about life, loss, and family, "LOVE AND OTHER IMPOSSIBLE PURSUITS."

Emilia (Portman) is a Harvard law school graduate and a newlywed, having just married Jack (Scott Cohen, THE UNDERSTUDY), a high-powered New York lawyer, who was her boss - and married - when she began working at his law firm.

Unfortunately, her life takes an unexpected turn when Jack and Emilia lose their newborn daughter. Emilia struggles through her grief to connect with her new stepson William (Charlie Tahan, I AM LEGEND), while also trying to overcome a long-standing rift in her relationship with her father caused by his own infidelity.

But perhaps the most difficult obstacle of all for Emilia is trying to cope with the constant interferences of her husband's angry, jealous ex-wife, Carolyn (Lisa Kudrow, FRIENDS, ANALYZE THIS).

Ultimately, Emilia's and Charlie's playful and sometimes tender exchanges help Emilia to open her heart.

Can Emilia rediscover her own capacity for love in time to salvage her failing marriage, mend fences with her parents and build a family from the wreckage?

Directed by Don Roos (THE OPPOSITE OF SEX) from his own screenplay, this tearful, terrific
tale proves that even with a pursuit like love, nothing is impossible.

That's all the movies that i've watched for the past 2 weeks at the comfort of my place / my bf's place!

Can't wait for the next movie marathon date! Yeah!!
