My first post of the year.. Jan 2016

I have terribly neglected this little space of mine where I rant and complain and compliments...

So here's the 1st post of the Year 2016.. {though it comes in 3 weeks late}

A little recap of 2015.

1. Baby D celebrated her 1st year birthday!
2. We survived the 1st year of Parenthood 
3. Received our house keys. {highlight of the year}
4. Started our renovation and along the way, we learn quite a bit in renovations and dealing with contractors and sub contractors.
5. Shifted into our lovely home and had friends coming over for house warming, Saturday night movies and Christmas celebrations!
6. Baby D completed her 1 sessions of Playgroup classes!! {Proud Mama}

So we start off with 2016 by celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary! Well, by just slacking at home...

This year.. lets it be a good year! May my families be healthy, happy and wise.

As for me.. I hope to exercise more patience, save more $$ = less shopping online and enrich myself.

I'm secretly hoping that this year.. I'm able to travel to a country that I've never been before. Either with my friend, Mr Lee or myself. *keep my finger cross*

New Year - New Goals

Hellooo... it's the first weekend of 2015 and I'm enjoying my long weekend because my wedding anniversary falls on New Year's Day.

Good thing that anniversary falls on Public Holiday... no need to take extra leave and hubby confirm will remember. No excuse to forget.

So its the new year hence I have new resolutions. Honestly, for the longest time, I haven had any resolutions because I'm not discipline enough to follow thru.

Now that I'm a mother and a wife. I think I need to have discipline and follow my resolutions.

First thing first.

PATIENCE.

Trust me.. it isn't easy to look after Danielle. Especially when she is 50% mix of my hubby and myself. Our temper and character isn't the easiest going kind. So when Danielle combines our hot temper and 200% stubbornness. You know, it isn't easy dealing with her.

And at this stage when she couldn't sit still. Forever crawling and moving around, always aiming for things that she isn't supposed to play. I get frustrated easily.

Then I come across these 2 pins in Pinterest. I know I'm raising a mini me therefore I need to set a good example to her. 

If I flare up easily in front of her, than when she grows up, she will do the same. 

So Patience it a must for me to achieve this year.

Saving $$

Okay.. I'm not the kind of person that is really good a saving money. In fact, I'm good at spending.

So this gotta go..

And I gotta to save. Especially this year when Danielle is turning ONE. I foresee that I'm going to send her for some kiddy courses and of course our HOUSE @ Fernvale Lea is coming soon.

So I saw this challenge online and think that its quite do-able.

But I decided to do this in reversed way because by the time December comes... lots of money is going out. Like insurance and christmas presents and CNY ang bao money.

So I just transfer $52 from my spending account to my savings account. 

I really wanna to do this!! Its my goal!!

Last Day of Year 2013

It's the last day of Year 2013...

Time to reflect and think back what you've achieved or didn't achieved this year..

Year 2013 is an eventful year for me.. 

Because..

• On New Year's Day... I got married to a man who loves me lots!
• Because of my wedding, I meet up with my Dad whom I haven't seen for more than 13 years.
• Shortly after, I lost my dad to cancer...
• I gain 2 half brothers
• We are thankful that we have our jobs even thought it may not be a smooth sailing but what is life if there isn't any storm for you to overcome.
• Families ties might not have strengthen but my brother knows that I will always be there for him.. beside, I'm just a phone call away.
• We thank god for the newest additional to our new Lee Family..

As today is 31 December 2013.... I can't help but reminisce what we did same time last year in 2012....

On 31 Dec 2012 - We were busy preparing our wedding...

In year 2013, we are busy preparing our little treasure, Baby Danielle's arrival... I can't wait to see her and hold her in my arms... But right now, I'm contented to feel her playful kicks and punches in my tummy...

This ultrasound might look abit scary but it's a rare view of my Baby Danielle...

We can see that she has fatty cheeks..

Life as Mrs Lee...

Time really flies..

It's been a week since we both sign on the dotted line and became MR & MRS.

Life is still the same for me... after a week of break (super tiring cos I've to shift my stuffs from Pasir Ris to Bukit Panjang) I went back to work. Didn't have the time to sit down and plan about honeymoon.

I always wanted to go to some beach / resort to chill right after our wedding but I guess I made the right choice. Cause I didn't realized after wedding, we have so much stuffs to do. Pack and unpack, return gowns and return camera & photo booth props. Shag!

Now that wedding is over.. I've nothing much to plan nor do...

It's time for me to pen down those NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS.

I know every year I will do this same old thing, but seriously I only achieved maybe half of it??!!
Hahahah

So as a married lady this year... I aspire to.

1. Fully indulge in my hobby - Photography + Crafting
2. To exercise more - I plan to take up YOGA!
3. Drink lots of water & eat lots of fruits - To drink at least 1.5 l of water each day and 1 fruits per day!
4. Save money!! At least $450 a month! Now that I've changed my job (past 6 mths) and done with my wedding, No more excuses not to save money!! Mr Lee said that we need to save up for our honeymoon too! (^_^v) I know I'm kinda lacking in this dept thus I vow to do it!! I must! Cause I'm a married woman already....
5. Go somewhere new - No more traveling to Hongkong for at least 2 years!! I'm praying very hard that I can do it! Simply because I wish to travel to new places and explore more.
6. Be forgiving - Now that I live with another person, I have to learn to forgive and forget. I heard from my bridesmaids that someone did a mess of the guest sitting arrangement during  my wedding. I was so furious but than I cooled down and think what can she do after i give her a piece of my mind? Wedding is already over. 
7. Shop less!!! Yes!! I need to control that!! Hahaha
8. Spend more time with my family - my brother, my hubby and myself and with my lovely friends!

Yes.. learn to recognize and appreciate too!!

On New Year's Day: I got married!!

I'm officially Mrs Lee now.. it's weird and not used to being called as Mrs Lee.

I'm really thankful for the weather on that day! Not a single drop of rain on that day, beautiful weather and my bridesmaids who helped me on every details of the wedding cos I was so preoccupied with other stuffs.
My families who helped me to carry my stuffs.. esp my actual day bridal gown that weigh 12 kg!!

The official photos from One Eye Click will only be ready in 1 months time.. so right now I only have those photos taken from my camera who my brother is helping me to snap on that day!

Will post up more details when I have better internet connections at Mr Lee's house! Just applied M1's fiber broadband, installations on 17th Jan!!!
