Holiday Bugs!

Recently I've been having this holiday itch!!! Seriously can't wait for Oct to come so that i can go Port Dickson with my Bf..

These 2 layouts are base on my holiday destinations last year.

June 2010 - USA, San Francisco

Nov 201 - Hong Kong

The later trip is more like my early birthday present that i give myself... Really miss Hong Kong, the food and the shopping!

Im really hopping that i can get another chance to go Hong Kong again. Maybe next year! *keeping my finger cross*

Did a layout using a sketch from creative scrappers... It's fun and easy. Completed this layout within 35mins!

I've having wanting to scrap on this photo as i realized that i didn't scrap much 4x6 photos on my San Francisco trip.. And now i finally have the motivation and inspiration to scrap!

Finally the very last post for this trip!

It's been a really enjoyable trip... Fall in love with the factory outlet shopping, the beautiful sights of San Francisco, Los Angles and Las Vegas...

Given me a choice, I would love to stay in California for a short period to experience the different lifestyle there.
People there are much friendly.. and I like to shop in Target and CVS..
Hahaha, Im like a country pumpkin who hasn't seen the world!! Hehe Although CVS is like our Watson's but still stuffs there are different..

The only tourist attraction that I didn't do, was to sit their Cable Car in San Francisco..

Perhaps this will give me a chance to go back again to explore.. Would really love to visit DC and New York! (^_^v)

San Francisco Trip Day 13 & !4 - The last days of California

Ok.. It's almost like 4 months since I'm back from my trip and I've YET to complete all my blog posts...

Hahahah... I've to admit I'm just lazy.. =)

As my title mention, these marks the end of my 2 weeks holiday trip in the West part of United States... I'm very happy that i've the chance to visit united states and i believe i will come back again.. to visit other parts like New York, DC, Florida and many more...

Since i book the last flight back to Singapore, I still have at least 1 day in SF.. So on this very last day we went to Coit Tower and Golden Gate bridge..
Quite upset that i didn't have a chance to take the cable car! I guess it would be already fun as SF has many uphill and downhill.. Hmmm

I like this famous quote " What happen in Vegas, stays in Vegas"... So lets me start my day...

Early morning we got up, pack our luggage.. Check out and when straight for breakfast @ IHOP!!

I've seen this sign when i was at Anahiem, Mr Li said that will bring me there for breakfast and lo and behold, they sells PANCAKES!!!

I like the fluffy  pancakes!! Nice!

And after breakfast... I realise that the Las Vegas Outlet is just next door.. soo we went to for a quick window shop and some souviours.

And than since we have some time before our flight back to SF..so went for some sight-seeing in the comfort of our rental cars...

So here are the pictures...

San Francisco Trip (Day 12) Grand Canyon West Rim..

This morning, Mr Li and I set off early in the morning to our tour bus for a trip to Grand Canyon West Rim..

Very excited cos i know that Grand Canyon is one of the 7 wonders in the world.... Our tour includes bus ride to Grand Canyon and a visit to Hover Dam & Grand Canyon's skywalk and lunch too.
.Total duration of this tour takes us about 6hrs...still able to do some hotel hopper later when we are done.
So let the pictures tell my story...

Pardon me for the different layout of my photo collage as Im trying out on a new program.. Didn't take any pictures of the skywalk as we are no allow to bring any camera or stuffs with us...

So what is the skywalk?
The Grand Canyon captures the hearts of visitors around the world with its epic views of majestic mountain peaks and valleys, clear skies that soar into deep shades of blue, and the awesome biological diversity of Mother Nature.  Located at the canyon’s west rim, the Grand Canyon Skywalk allows visitors to “Walk the Sky” with its unique glass bottomed cantilever U shaped observation deck that spans 70 feet (21.34 meters) over the canyon’s rim and sits 4,000 feet (1,219 meters) above the Colorado River.  A construction masterpiece, the glass – which is the only element that separates visitors from the deep canyon floor – weighs 1.2 million pounds.   Completed in March 2007, the Skywalk is located on the Hualapai Indian Reservation in northwest Arizona and is the only architectural wonder of its kind that allows visitors to truly take in the experience of this beautiful and majestic place.

The Skywalk is really fun but for people like me who isn't really afraid of heights don't even dare to look down...

It must be the psychology thingy that makes me think the bridge is unsafe because of the glass. But the actual fact is that the bridge is so sturdy..

Anyway such adventure is a once in a lifetime.. but i won't go again... haha
