Exploring Gardens By the Bay..

To those who know.. I did my pre wedding photo shoot in Gardens by The Bay...

And till today... after being married for 10 months, I still missed that place!! Especially Cloud Forest..
So on a lazy weekend without any program, I went online to purchase the admission tickets and set off to GBTB.

These are some of my favourite shots take during my pre wedding photo shoot @ GBTB

So here are my memories of Garden By the Bay as I venture in again with Baby Dani inside me... as i walk along the "Paradise Fall", I rub my tummy and tell baby dani that mummy and daddy did our prewedding photo shoot here... and the above photo are the ones tat I super love!

On the side note.. I'm currently at my final lap of my pregnancy!! @ Week 28 now~

All these happens too fast and so soon, it's going to end.

Tummy is ever growing and I can feel Baby Dani's movement every now and then... Her playful kicks are something that I will miss once she is born...

But I so can't wait to see her!!!

Waiting for Ting (Lightedpixel Pixies) to pass me my maternity shoots photos which I should be receiving around mid of Dec!!

Also can't wait to plan my baby shower with my gfs and hopefully I can do another round of maternity shoot.. This kind round without my husband!! hahahaa

Have a great week ahead!

Pre-wedding photos from Oh,Dear! Photography

It's been quite awhile since our wedding.. and I realised that I didn't post some of the pre wedding photos that we have taken with Oh,Dear! Photography..

Melody from Oh,Dear! Photography is really good at what she is doing...  so inspired by her!

I'm quite tempted to do a Friendship shoot with Melody again....
Chance upon her 2013 Price booklet and realized that her charges are $580 for up to 6 paxs.

Not sure if my girlfriends are interested?!!

Hahaha..

Photo Canvas

After we got our photos from Melody of Oh,dear! Photography..

We have been deciding which photo to blow up and print as canvas. After much thought, we decided to print the one that we took at Garden By the Bay.. I search online for many canvas print shop and found Brilliant Print. They have this guareente that if you change your mind, you can change to print another photo without additional cost!

Brilliant Print is so efficient too, I received my canvas within 3 working days after i placed my order! Thumb up!

I super love this picture! Somehow Melody managed to capture our blissful love.

Another picture that I super love is the one that we took at the Falls inside cloud forest... so i decided to print it out as 8r size photo, but somehow the photo couldn't fit the frame. And I happened to stubble upon a diy blog that has a post on DIY photo canvas!

I bought a 8'x10' canvas from Spotlight and Modge Podge glue (matte)...

Steps to do

1) paint modge podge glue thinly on the canvas
2) paint modege podge glue on the photo, place it on the canvas and smooth it to ensure that there is no air bubbles.
3) paint modge podge to the side of the canvas, wait for it to dry and paint black paint to paint.
4) Need at least 2-3 coats of black paint.
5) thinly apply glue to the photo. It will gives a a matte look. Can skip this step if you fancy, gloss look.

Now I have another photo canvas to place it at my reception table!

It's our pre-wedding shoot with Oh,Dear

Finally we had our engagement photo shoot with Melody from Oh,Dear! photography on 1st Sept 2012.

From our experience, it's a fun and tiring process! But I believe that it's all worth it!! Was praying very hard that the weather will be good to us! And luckily it is! Bright and sunny!

So before our photo shoot, we had our gown and suits altered and fixed. And I did alot of homework on  hairstyles and my makeup artist managed to braid my hair for me but I didn't get a snap of it! Haiz..

So I choose 2 locations for our shoot!
1. Armenian Apostolic Church @ Hill Street
2. Garden By the Bay

So we got ready around 1pm to get to our Sattine (bridal shop) for my makeup and hairstyle.
I prepared my own ampules and eyelash but was not used cos they say that it's not suitable. Hmmm...

Anyway, Melody posted some sneak peeks for us to view! I can say it's soooo pretty and I can't wait for the rest of the photos. Which I will received in soft copy in 2 weeks times! (^_^V)

My childhood friend who helped me on my shoot

My look for that day

Hair let down for the 2nd change of clothing!

Our props!

Secretly taken!

These are the sneak peeks from Melody!! Just these 3 pictures already took my breath away!!

We brave thru the heat and the crowd with tons of ppl staring at us... still we had fun!
