Something that I'm looking forward!

This December, Lee Family is going to Bali for our first family vacation!

I'm pretty excited cause we have been to Bali during our honeymoon and now we are going back 2 years later with Baby D.

Saw the Groupon was having a deal on the villa that we used to stay during our honeymoon and we decided to purchase it and revisit the villa again!

Villa Kayu Raja
This time round we are planning to stay at Bali for 4D3N.. make sure of the time there to visit some "must visit" places.

  • Ubud Art Market
  • Rice Fields
  • Tanah Lot
  • Kintamani Tour
  • Jimbaran seafood

Recently I've been checking the weather forecast and was quite disappointed to see that "Thunderstorm".. also daily!

Let's hope that when the Lee Family are there.. the weather will be nice enough for us to stroll along the streets and visit those attractions!!

It's out first time bringing Baby D who is 22 months old on an overseas trip!! I feel like packing the whole house along!! Pretty paranoid that her diapers and formula milk are not enough for this trip!

Now I have to pen those itineraries and also Baby D's luggage packing list!

In case I'm too lazy to pen my next blog before Christmas..

Wishing one and all a very Happy Holidays!!

Its finally time!

Yes, its finally time for me to start bringing Danielle out alone.... to TOWN area!!

Yup, before I only dare to venture somewhere nearby our place. Eg, Bukit Panjang Plaza with Dani. Because our pram isn't the one hand fold kind hence it's difficult for me to carry her and close the pram at the same time.

It's till one fine day, I decided to use the ergobaby carrier that my hubby bought when Dani is a newborn. So now I'm hands-free and I am able to close the pram while carry her!
Blumberide - Our compact stroller..

Today was a very good day for me to try out being out with Danielle n myself.

So early morning we went to SBCC for her 6th mth vaccination and after that I hopped onto a cab to ICA building with Danielle to collect her passport. Thankfully I pop Danielle in the carrier, she fall asleep from Gleneagles all the way to ICA. Taxi Uncle was kind enough to help me carry the pram out and I open it and place Dani in her pram for her to sleep...
Chatting with mummy while waiting for her turn to collect her passport.

Collected her passport and I decided to have lunch.. So off we went to take MRT together. Thought that its around lunch time hour, might as well head to Marina Sq cause it seems to be the only mall nearby that won't be so crowded as compared to Raffles City and Bugis.

So I alighted at Cityhall and walk thru the Citylink.... Went up and down via the escalator with Dani safety buckled. Getting the hang of traveling via escalator with Dani in pram cause it's really a pain in the neck to wait for lift only to know that you're unable to enter and have to wait several times. Alot of faster & easier to travel via escalator.
First MRT ride with Mummy!!

Thus far, I think I can manage with going out with her alone. However when we went it, its a weekday so shopping malls are generally less crowded as goes for public transports. So I'm going to try out another time on weekends to see how we can managed!!

I'm so excited to bring Dani out!! Yeah to Mother - Daughter Bonding + Shopping time!! ^_^v

Father's Day...

Happy Father's Day to all daddy in this world.

After many years, this is my first time celebrating Father's Day with my dad. I hope he likes the stuffs that I do for him.

I will always remember him...

The man who came to my wedding and gave me away. Who is always always ever eager to meet my brother and I... Even if he have prior golfing appointments, he will cancel it and turn up just to have dinner with us.

I hope that I had more time with him but God has better plans...

He taught me a lesson ; Never take someone for granted. Treasure your love ones.

Whirlwind week..

I'm not sure how I pass the entire week when I have so much stuffs on my plate...

But 1 thing is more sure.. thru such ordeal you know who are your family, the one who loves you the most and stick with you thru thick and thin..

'Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten.' - Lilo & Stitch
I'm glad that my dad attended our wedding. And somehow by the work of fate, both Mr Lee & I were glad that we choose to have our wedding on 1st Jan 2013 instead of the original date of Sept 2013.

Sleepless night at the hospital.

A special thought from Yamaha Music (Asia) Pte Ltd

Special thought from my company and colleagues.

My dad did his best to fight with his illness and he draw his last breath on 21st April 2013.
The sadness that I felt cannot be put into words as I realized that I could have spend more time with him. Meet him more often for lunch or dinners.

I have 2 half brothers too. I wish I could have know them under a better circumstances but I'm glad that somehow I managed to have a chance to meet them and interact with them.

Whatever that has pass, is in the pass. Right now, I need to recharge my energy, lead my life as per normal. And from my dad's passing, I've decided to do start what I love to do most.

I hope with my husband's support and encouragement, I can make it thru!

Have a great weekend!

Life is so unpredictable...

On New Year's Day... I saw my dad and he gave me away on my wedding...

Met him again around Chinese New Year and pass him our wedding day images...

Today I went hospital to visit him.... he look so frail.

I hope that now he finds God in his life... he has the strong willpower to fight this.

Cause I hope that someday when I have a kid... he is around to carry his first grandchild...

{Family}

After soooo long, I've finally SCRAP!!!!

Yup.. and all these are done while Im watching Ghost Whisper Season 5 and in between a Hongkong's TVB Drama... I didn't know that Im such a super mulit tasker!! LOL!

Anyway, this afternoon as i was cleaning up my room.. I keep telling myself that i need to do a layout on my family! It's been awhile since we took a family photo together. This photo was taken during this year's Chinese New Year Eve. Can't wait for the next reunion dinner that we will be having.

Cos due to our lifestyle and working schedule, thought we may live under the same roof but we seldom have the chance to dine together. Thus that what CNY eve are for!! hehehehe

Ok! So here is my layout... and simple one yet i find it beautiful enough to show my family love..
