On this day last year, I said "Yes" to Mr Lee.. Look at how time flies..
It's already 1 year. In fact both of us didn't remember until I saw a old picture that I posted on Facebook. Dated 3rd Dec 2011....
It might sound weird but as a couple usually don't celebrate all the anniversary .. cos the very first day we started dating is on Valentine's Day. Guess my hubby to be is not a very romantic person... more to the practical kind though i do hope that he can be a little bit romantic once in a while.
The next "Par Tok" anniversary will be next year... where by then I'm his wife. Let's see if he wants to celebrate with me. Hahaha

Felicia

Whatz up recently!!
I've started my new job for almost 1 week... I can stay all things are good..
I'm still taking baby steps in my learning process and I hope that I can absorb as much as I can..
Initially I thought that I made a wrong move to resign from my comfortable zone and venture into something new and different. But seems like I'm slowly adapting to my new environment. Only bad point here is that I don't have alot of lunch kakis.. So most of the time, I might have to lunch alone. So poor thing right??! But then again, I appreciated this "ME" time that i have during lunch. I can go window shopping, sit and read my book or just ran some quick errands.
Like people say... change is the only constant. ^_^v
July is here.. Next month, I'll going to Sattine to choose my outdoor gown! =)
Really can't wait for my pre weds photoshoot with Oh! Dear Photography in Sept...
I've already short listed a few places that I would want to have my outdoor shoot!
Out of the 8 venues, I can only choose 2 outdoor scene. So I can't really decide where.
But Garden by the Bay is definitively in the list. Too bad we weren't one of the first few couples to shoot in this beautiful garden.. Hehhe. Hear that a newspaper actually published an article on the first couple that went there for the pre wed shoots when the Garden first open her doors to public.
Beside deciding the photoshoot venue, I also have a list of pops to prepare...
Recently I found out the Spotlight sells this helium balloon kit for S$59.95. I was so tempted to purchase, but my friend, S says that she can help me fill the balloons with helium as her office have the helium tank! Best part is, the balloons can stay afloat for aleast 2 days.
Hmmm... got to sit down and discuss with Mr Lee.. What kind of style and what items we're going to bring for the pre weds photoshoot.
Counting down to 1st Sept! ^^

Putting tgt a quick wedding!
- Get a date.. which currently I do not have.. not a confirm date just a tentative one which is very likely to change. Have been asking my fiance to sit down and decide on a date for our wedding but to him.. he thinks it's no hurry. And he have no wish to find a fortune teller to calculate a good date for us. So guess this have to wait
- Get the location .. at the early stage of our planing, no confirm venue yet. Can't decide to do a garden wedding at Rochester Park or a small and cosy event in one of the hotel. A small problem... we have small families so the number of tables required at the major hotels... we can't gather enough. Any hotel that is good and affordable and can have at least 11 tables??!!
- Get the ring.. Does engagement ring consider??! Hehehhee... Nope.. this is not done yet. As our wedding is going to be in 2013.. so we have no hurry to purchase the wedding bands. So far I would love to have a pair of Love & Co wedding band but got to see if fiance likes any of the design there...
- Get the vendors... Currently I'm still doing my research... for AD photography & Videography + a photobooth... I've been in love with both One Eye Click & Wishwanders' work... competitive pricing but no confirmations yet. But I'm happy to say that I've already chosen my engagement photographer and also the suppliers for printing my photo album and big canvas frame.. ^^
- Getting the gown/dress and tuxedo. Well this is consider DONE! Yeah!! My bridal shop packages includes all the actual day needs plus a set of gown n suit for outdoor engagement shoot! But I'm contemplating to purchase a evening gown.... Got to see how's my budget!! hehe
- Get a theme... Hmm.. I know that with a theme in mind. Things can be done more easily esp the bridesmaids' dresses and the venue deco... I was actually think about Rustic Wedding and the Classical white, pale pink and green colour theme..
- Getting the guest list.. This area here, I don't foresee any problems cos it's going to a small n cosy affair with our family, relatives and close friends...
Looking at the bullet points.... Seems like wedding has many stuffs to plan and research.. Luckily the wedding is in 2013...

Felicia

Treasure our moments together
Ever since both my bf and I have decided that we are "The One" for each other.. we have been very busy working.
And for bf, he's teaching almost 7 days a week. Teaching 2 different time slot. morning @ public schools and afternoon @ private institutions. Recently he's discussing with me about joining MOE, so that he can fixed timing and rest days. Which I totally agree and would very much preferred this plan of his. So we can keeping our fingers cross that he's able to get the job!
For me, like other post before I've been taking as much OTs I can at work.

Having said that, this means that our dating is very precious. Cos we both had hardly any time for each other.
I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder! Each week, I'm always looking forward to Friday or Sat to meet him as these are the only days where we will have sleepovers and each other house. (^_^)
As for our wedding plans.... not much have of the items that we planned are concrete.
Like previously, we wanted to have our prewed photos taken in HK.. factoring in the expenses, accom and air tixs.Isn't very worth it... As it's not really what i wanted. Cos I would much prefer a casual engagement shots and it will be good if i can be photographed with my wedding grown.
So we decided to stick to home ground. And we have decided on 1 photographer, which i shall share more on my next post! Haven't paid the deposit yet so I don't want to jinx it!
Stay tune!

Felicia
