Too old to celebrate??!

In Nov, I celebrated my 30th birthday and to be honest ever since I hit 26 and above.. all birthday celebrations are quiet affair.

I guess gone were the days where I will party like crazy... nor do I have the energy to stay up till 1am.

So birthday celebrations are just a day to pamper myself with either massage, hair cut or nails treatment. And thereafter a simple dinner with some friends or just with my loves one.

This year, my big "3" celebration is alot more simple...

I just spend the day off to my tummy massage with bottomslim, head out for a session of yoga and head back home to celebrate with hubs and dani girl..

I guess the next and all the birthdays will be celebrated in such manner but I'm not complaining... Cause I simply have this birthday day off! ^_^v

30 is the new 20!

Well... here's the hard truth! I've turn 30 years old this month...
However,in my heart, I still feel like I'm in my late twenties (self denial mode on)..

Guess now is the best time to recap what I've done in my twenties..

• worked full time and support myself
• travel to places (I traveled alone from Singapore to States when I was 25~26)
• got my Diploma
• got my driving license (pass it on my 2nd attempt)
• get out of a shitty relationship
• met an awesome guy (who is my husband now)
• have the courage to quit my job and look for a better one
• picked up new hobbies (scrapbook & photography)
• got engaged & married to my awesome husband
• reconcile with my late father & know some of my relatives
• got pregnant 
• become a mother at 29 years old
• bought our first car
• bought our first home

I guess each experience in life make me grown a bit wiser.. However out of all these I still have my bad habits. Stuffs like saving money, discipline in attending regular yoga classes, eat healthy and controlling my temper especially when I'm pek chey..

Trying my best to change each bad habits cause I now have a daughter who will look up to me as an example. I definitely do not want her to follow my bad habits.

Having mid week crisis...

A year older and wiser!!

Gosh... I just realized that I kinda neglected my blog..

Why?? Because I'm so tired and my every growing tummy and while I have that burst of energy.. I want to do stuffs that I might not have the energy and time to do when Baby Dani is due..

I celebrated my 29th birthday in a super boring way.... but I'm thankful for everything I have..

I haven't gift myself anything for this year's birthday.. it's my last year celebrating together with Mr Lee as a couple.. Next year onward, our status will changed.. And honestly, I can't wait for Baby Dani's arrival!

Happy Birthday to the Man I love!

Over the last weekend, I celebrated my hubby's 28th birthday.

Dun expect lots of pictures cause he is not the kind that really like to celebrate his birthday cause to him it's just another day..

Not sure if I've mention earlier... (blame it on my goldfish memory due to pregnancy), that I've purchase an very early birthday gift for my hubby..

Bought it early in July and hubby didn't use it till recently!

Influence by me, Mr Lee likes Brown too!

So on last Saturday, I bought this little gift for my hubby instead. Supposed to be place together with his keys, he hang Brown in his car..

Anyway, not much pictures as we had dinner at Thai Express after his full day of teaching. He don't like cake so I didn't purchase any and I didn't take his photo cause he looks tired after teaching. =P

To my hubby: Growing old with you is one of my favourite things that I would love to do with you. Happy Birthday!!

Kinda of looking forward to our birthday next year. Cos we will have our little one celebrating with us. ^_^

My thoughts...

Time really flies with an blink of an eye!!

I didn't realized that it's coming to the end of Oct.

November is coming in less than a weeks time. November is going to be a busy month for me cos it's also my office's busy period with enrolment coming up. It's my first enrolment period with them and I have no idea how busy or chaotic it will be.

Thus I'm preparing myself for the enrolment both physically and mentally. Let's hope that I can do well in this enrolment, so that my probation can end early!! Hahah (*keeping my fingers cross*)

Beside getting busy at work.. my wedding preparation can come to standstill cos there is nothing much on my side to plan. It's down to Mr Lee side. Like confirm his "brothers", settle wedding live band, clean up his room and purchasing furniture. As for me, I've already 70% confirm my guest list and my bridesmaids  attire has been settled too, let hope that there is no last min changes with the dresses. Gifts for my bridesmaids are also done. All left to do is to collect their corsage and awaits for my Hens' Night!

Oh, my birthday is coming soon too!! This year I will be 28 years old. So let's see what I've accomplished within this year when I'm 27 years!

1. Pass my driving license
2. Had changed my job
3. Took Skyride and luge ride @ Sentosa 
4. Control my shopping urges (Eg, buying bags & shoes)
5. Have a healthier lifestyle
6. Curb my spending.. 
7. Planning my wedding - my marriage to my best friend (^_^v)
8. Had my pre wedding photo shoot
9. DIY my own pre wedding album
10. Printed my own first photo canvas
11. Resume back my electone class

And when I'm 28 years old... what I hope to do

1. Learn something new
2. Upgrade my camera and practice more to photograph better
3. Practice my electone and aim to take my Grade 6 exam
4. Save more $$
5. Clear off any debts that I have before my next birthday
6. Be more understanding and have lots patience cos I'm someone's wife soon.
7. Eat more fruits and vegetables!
8. Visit a country (which I've never been before) - so that I won't keep going back to Hongkong

I'm so looking forward to this Friday cos it's long weekend!! YEAH!!

It's been awhile since i bring my EOS out for some good shooting, perhaps this weekend is a good chance!

Turning 27 years old!!

Like many wise people commented, once you've past your 21st.... there ever all the years will just fly pass.
And this is very true... with an blink of an eye, I've reach 27 years old.

Many things that I would want to achieve and hope that with hard work and determination, I can do it.

Unlike other years, this year I don't have much plans to celebrate. Mainly because I'm too old! Haha
Just want to spend some time with my loved ones... So will just have movie marathon at home and also my favorite zhe char dinner too!!

Thank you to my bf who is so attentive to what i said and remembered that I was deciding whether to buy the instax wide angle camera since I already have mini 7s. Now I have the both! So happy!!

Could skip and hop around my house the whole day! 

Thank you to my friends who contributed to my birthday gift - Big danbo!! I've always wanted to purchase this big danbo but it's always OOS like everywhere! And I'm surprised that my brother found it and get it for me!!!

Yeah!! Its my birthday coming real soon...

And for the 1st time, I'll be celebrating my birthday with Mr Li...
Some might wonder why is it the 1st time that im going to celebrate my birthday with Mr Li? It's because... it's always his exam period when it's my birthday. So he choose to study than to celebrate with me.

This year, so happened that my birthday falls on a weekend.. so Mr Li promised to spend time with me. Keeping my finger cross on what's going to happen on my birthday!

As for my birthday present for myself.. can't think of what i want. So i shall take Hongkong Trip as my birthday present for myself! haha
